Someone do something, please.

Rampant KS / training / charm-stealing of mobs that are pulled and dying.

Seriously ruining my goddam fun.

This guy is on my personal S&%T List for camp ganking. At least I know I'm not the only one who is having problems with him.

Is there any policy on the server to deal with this kind of bullshit?

We're such a small community, why do we have to put up with the one exceptional cocksucker that crops up now and then? It's not like he's paying you people to keep the server up, and it's not like anyone relishes the supposed necessary evil of having GRIEFERS on the server.

Get him off the server.

For about a week and so far i have met alot of awesome people and had alot of fun. It saddens me to read this forum thread due to the fact that Faza or Outbound did not send me a tell in game letting me know how they felt about my actions. If anyone has an issue with me please let me know in game so it can be resolved as long as it follows the rules and guidelines of server conduct.

I would like to clarify some things related to what i think Faza and Outbound are talking about.

I have not to my knowledge Trained, KSed or Charm Stole any mobs or players within this server unless it was accidental and i always offer some kind of resolution or apology to the group or player which i fouled.

-Kill Stealing / Charm Stealing-
I am assuming this is related to Crocs / Caimans in Oasis for this is where i have spent the majority of my time the past week. Whenever i have been hunting in this area i move between the beach mostly near the dunes or the water which lead to Spectre Island. A few times now i have been there soloing at a "Global Camp" where Deepwater "Croc / Caiman" path by to and from the north and south. When i solo i kill fast and groups / solo players showed up daily. Whenever this happened i was glad to share the camp and if i charmed mobs that were being pulled by another group i apologised and i also left the majority of the mobs in the area alive for other players to kill unless no one was around.

The entire time i was leveling in oasis only one complaint about my playstyle was sent so far and was in regard to Lockjaw.
"/shout" From my experience this command is used for emergency situations, trolling, when a player is in need of help, when mobs are being trained to the zone, or when camps are being called / requested.

A druid player /shouted something along the lines of "Lockjaw on the beach near the docks" so i ran to the mob and charmed him as i thought the druid needed help due to the shout. Afterwards i started fighting crocs in the area (no one was around) then the druid sends me a tell calling me a kser. I offered to give the mob back and wipe the hate/threat list so he would get all of the loot and experience but the only replies i recieved were in anger about being a kser. I charmed the mob because he shouted in which case i thought it was a shout for help. My apologies again to this player as i cannot remember your name.

The only other incident i can think of is last night i was charming sand giants making them fight DW crocs for exp and no groups or players were in the area where the DW Crocs pathed so i was not ksing to my knowledge. I also kept the sand giant away from other players as much as possible as not to "scare" players.

-Training-
I have trained once in this game on accident and i forgot to /shout the train to the zone and this was in Upper Guk, in the future i will call out all trains to zones if i am responsible.

Lastly i would like to say that if you have a problem with my gameplay please talk to me in game, this is a great server and i want to see everyone on it having as much fun as i have had the past week.

Thank you again for your time
Sincerely,

Belakor

I must say this bodes well for the server when a person accused of being the "worst" posts here with a full explanation (whether actual or not I am not weighing in) and states they want to be a good member and are happy to address any concerns. If all our "trolls" are this responsive I like where this is leading.

Just to clear it up /shout is not necessarily an emergency channel on this server. It is the only means of zonewide chat and is therefore used as the original /ooc was used.

I recall a group is was in bitching about you charming mobs we had pulled as well.

then there was a bitchfest in /shout that gave me a good laugh.

the other day i saw your pile of corpses on the oasis dock.

all in all, i've gotten some decent chuckles out of this.

i can't say you're griefing/ksing on purpose, but you made a good response.

Sounds like you're both being whiney pussies. I sentence you both to shutting of the talk-holes.

Yes, i agree, great response.

Howver, it's horse shit.

You heard people shouting and /t'ing over and over and over and over all of friday and saturday in oasis.

Way to go with words on the forum, but you know you constantly ruin other people's fun. Way to go fooling everyone that hasn't met you in game.

You know you're an asshole. That you read that others think so too is enough to make me happy.

Fuck off and die. Thanks.

The player was Tenawin. She was kiting it and doing very well. You WAITED UNTIL THE MOB WAS UNDER 50% HP to steal it. Go ahead, say it was innocent, even after she told you that you'd stolen it.

Just thought i'd point that out.

Don't even bother to apologize, just claim complete ignorance from the countless complaints you've received.

You're either entirely incompetent at understanding parallel vs interfering play, or you're just being blatantly full of shit.

Anyone who has had the displeasure of your proximity in Oasis for the last week knows your response to be contrived.

In either case, I'd be happy to see you removed from this server permanently.

A well spoken response about how it wasn't done intentionally, does not make it so. A friend of mine was camping Centaurs in SK. Belakor came and started Charm killing. What started as a request that he should have asked to share, since he was much higher than the two people there, turned to harsh words on both sides. Belakor decided to kill everything in the camp, including spawns that were green to him in order to chase them out. This was a deliberate act. /tells did not get a resolution to the situation. It got grief. While words spoken could have been better choosen, the final resolution dealt out by Belakor was not the solution to a battle of words. He could have simply left the lowbies to their Foals and Shelties and continued to take the higher mobs and the situation would have resolved itself. The "Might is right" tactic will only lead to more grief, flaming and bitching.

Its weird that people would intentionally ruin their rep on such a small server. I am not saying he did these things, but when the server is like a small town in middle America word spreads fast about misdeeds. Dont know why some folks think they are untouchable.

This is going to be my last post and i thank you Outbound for bringing up that camp i was farming a few days ago.

About 2 days ago when i reached level 22 i decided to go try the Centaur camp in South Karana as soon as i arrived i started /con'ing mobs and testing out Charm to test level limits (level 12 Charm only works up to level 25 mobs). I quickly realized that Centaur Chargers and Centaur Coursers were above level 25 thus i could not charm them. When i arrived there was another enchanter there (Dride?) i forget his name... killing Centaur Chargers and Centaur Coursers. I waited about 30 minutes and started killing Centaur Archers which max out at level 23, Centaur Foals and Centaur Shelties because they were both dark blue to me.

Quick Side Note: I apologise Dride if you had a problem with me in the area, i figured you wouldnt mind because i was speeding up the respawn rate on Chargers / Coursers for you to exp faster.

After awhile a Necromancer showed up, (i dont remember seeing another person im sorry) and started killing mobs in the same area. This person never sent me a tell asking to share the mobs or i would have in a heart beat.

If anyone has an issue with me please let me know in game so it can be resolved as long as it follows the rules and guidelines of server conduct.

I am apologizing for my mistakes in the most sincere way i can...

Try to see that i am not a bad guy? Im just trying to get people to communicate better.

-Belakor

P.S. If people dont start to communicate better this server wont be much fun in Kunark with 300 to 400 people at level 51 outside KC lol.

/shout Train to zone!! GTFO

Sad thing is that's a hotkey.
Who among us hasn't pulled too much for their worth and had to train??
I don't see why training is such a bad thing in most circumstances.

KS'ing is another story.
But forreal. If it's only one mob isn't it possible it was a mistake.
No one's perfect.
