Interesting.
I like how it shows the graph for avg and how it saves what people are buying / selling under their character name.

Coming features,. sellers online. Do Like.
I presume people will be able to list their items on this site? Perhaps an option to allow PMing the seller if the seller allows. Could have the seller add their forum account name then point the pm to a new msg on the forums for that person.

I already found a hiccup in this system. There is a torpor listed as selling for 10k. Which it's not,. the person is either selling things for torpor or trading+plat for torpor.
I'd feel bad for this person if this site became popular and he got bombarded by people wanting to buy torpor for 10k.lol

This looks great!
Is it going to have a live feed feature like ahungry's?

It's just a log reader at it's core - if someone shouts "Selling Torpor 10k" then the website is going to pick it up, even if it's a joke.

I'd really like the option to add an option to the watch list from the item page itself on the site.

Slightly worried that it starts when you launch P99. I mean, who's to say it isn't parsing passwords?

Who created it?

Its not encrypted. You can watch the traffic its sending out from your machine with any sniffer, looks like its just /auctions from the log files.

I just did an auction in west wastes and it sent this:

{"StreamId":"ANON-443aadwq2023","ApplicationVersion":"0.3.0.0","AuctionLines":["[Mon Jan 25 10:31:28 2016] Vasec auctions, 'WTS Spell: Enforced Reverence'"]}

He has a thread on the subreddit too:

would be great if there were another option on the site which is to simply upload your own logs rather than using the specific client. i'd feel a lot more comfortable with this option.

That goes against it being real-time then. Someone could come up with some fake logs and pollute the site with bad data.

There are multiple ways that somebody could input bad data. You're never going to be able to eliminate them all.

Obviously, but allowing the uploading of old log files seems like the easiest way to input fake data.

Open source the code.

It will be obvious what the scraper does and does not do.

plenty of people with fake auctions. it's never going to be 100%. if someone wants to take the time to fake all the data they can do it in a lot easier fashion. the log upload would be more convincing than me to load up wireshark.

Not to mention with closed source, you risk a payload being sent obscurely in the future (how do you know it isn't collecting your password/keys/personal data for a push out in a future date? Or installing a botnet on your machine).

Interesting because they're not supposed to redistribute the code as the Dotfuscator Professional Evaluation terms dictate, and the fact that they felt the need to obfuscate the source (hint - it can't really be to prevent people sending in fake JSON to the server, as Wiresharking the network and copying the JSON format is trivial, since it's not using any encoding).

Did you read the first page of the thread? What it sends is unencrypted JSON containing the auction line and an identifier, and basically nothing else.

Nice to see another auction tracker. Ahungry works but the obnoxious ads usually keep me away.

Doesnt work like it used to. It's become, for me, pretty useless now. It used to keep track of stuff sold for some time now only keeps the most recent, and even then misses things.

Any chance you could fix it Tristantio ?

Sure, it used to search backwards in history with no limit, then for performance I set to 2 weeks, but I'll make it go all the way back again.

Also if you don't like ads I'll make the link to remove them persistent so if you click to remove them they'll stay gone for you

Nice link in the reddit thread, p99auctions posted the source of client:

https://github.com/p99Auctions/AuctionAssistant

p99auctions, if you need, you can feel free to grab any of the log data sent to ahungry via this log file (refreshes automatically):

http://ahungry.com/eqlog.txt.bz2

It's generated every minute, and contains the latest 2MB worth of log data compressed (so its only about 250KB to download) - at the moment it contains around 13,000 of the latest unique auctions (data from 12/27 to today).

Thanks. But its still missing a lot of transactions. I guess people are just not uploading their logs anymore like they used to :( unless something else is amiss.

Now all we need is a way to send/deliver/mail items in-game...hehe

No offense to the purists (who, /clears throat, may or may not enjoy the live auction feed)

Are there PC brokers in-game? Or does this render that function obsolete?
