Is it possible to solo Naggy here or was that something that needed Luclin AA's? Can't remember.

If it is possible, what would it take? Pimped out shaman?

thanks!

Puppet strings and a series of giants?

I am sure some of the top geared players could do it.... if it was able to be engaged at level 60. I believe ragefire could be solo'd with a reaper/soulfire/wort pot's though.

Wasn't Vox done on live by a monk with stinging wort potions?

With Stinging Worts and SoulFire/Reaper, anything is possible!

I think a level 52 monk with max gear and buffs would have the best shot. DS Potion, Mage DS should get him up to around 60~, and that would do the majority of your work for you. Actually, a level 52 Epic Mage with Reaper + 5 charge SoulFire would have a really good shot on Nagafen.

Getting all the buffs stacked, and giants cleared enough for a character to make a solo attempt at Nagafen won't really happen on this server though.

I did it on Live with a 52 Warrior (he required outside heals so doesn't count really), 52 Magician (complete solo), 52 Monk (requires mercenary or Vet AAs + Heal clickies). I would say the magician was probably the most fun of them all. You needed epic and the level 52 Luclin Pet Heal. I would summon 5-10 Levitate Rings and use them as junk buffs on my pet to cover his self DS (50 DS is incredible on these fights). Then just sit back and use pet heals playing cleric. Typically fights were close, the main pain int he ass was managing to split out and kill the FGs on the mage.

Orruar wanted to try it with his monk and 7 bags of wort pots years ago. Unfortunately, I don't think it would be possible with his (not classic) 3%/tick regen.

Thats what I use on my 52 monk to easily split the giants out. Proc snare, FD and mob parks there.

Good info, thanks all.

But why would you want to? The game is about killing dragons with OTHER people.

True. Sometimes you just have to look for a different adventure. Love ur name btw lol.

I doubt it is possible on this server. This monk on live does(did) it and he has way better gear than what is available here.

You could duo it on live with epic mage + cleric lvl 60. Don't remember someone soloing him.

Why monk? A 52 warrior with bloodpoints seems a better bet to me?

Midnight Mallet to slow it, 5 charges of CH, and using evasive discipline (lasts 3 minutes, 15 minute cooldown).

Sure, monks get mend....25% of their health every 6 minutes.... but I think warriors ability to crazy out-tank the monk and make more use of the CH's would go further (along with the bloodpoints doing more damage + more healing over 6 minutes than a mend does).

I'd imagine because Monks have a much higher damage table than warriors, could be wrong though. Not that warrior isn't the better choice, they can produce the same self damage shield I would guess.

I'm curious as to why people have said that stinging worts would be helpful.

Decrease Hitpoints by 2 per tick
Increase STR by 17
Increase HP when cast by 300

What is the benefit of this? the 300 total hp?

10 dose pot = 3000 hp via instant click (as you need it) + if you only use 9 clicks (2700 hp) then you can recharge it later

It heals you with each click? Or do they stack? Still kinda confused.

mallet isn't going to slow naggy

each click heals you for 300 hp, it overwrites the dot/buff that is already there. With luck you can have the dragon dispell the wort dot/buff as a junk buff. You still get the 300 each click tho.
