So, Im a r99 transplant to b99. I lvl'd a iksar necro to mid 50's on r99. Starting over sucks, but I love b99 way more than red.

My question is leveling path. On r99 I went kurns to 20, giant fort in WW, loio sarnaks, FM giant fort, feerrott specs. etc. etc.

I dont mind doing kurns until 20, the bone chips are great, but I dont want to follow the exact same lvling path. Im wearing my newby robe and dagger but Ive made enough money to buy all my spells so anywhere I go would have to be able to be handled by someone with no gear. What do you guys recommend? Any suggestions would be great, I love to group but also dont mind solo at all and I know how to play necro since ive done it already

Thanks guys!

Highkeep guards 30-40. Very low hp compared to kunark/velious mobs. Upper/lower guk is good too. Do yourself a favor and get a HS key once you hit ~51. You can start doing basement around that level (maybe a little higher) and it's the best exp in the game for a charming necro until 60.

Only thing to keep in mind is you may have to move zones a bit depending on time of day, some of these exp camps are popular during peak times.

Kurns 1-19
Upper Guk 20-29
Kaesora 30-35
Lower guk 36-51
Howling Stones 51+

There are plenty of options, but imo Kaesora is damn near impossible to beat 30-35. Lower Guk and Howling Stones are two of the greatest playgrounds for a necro. Those were the most fun zones for me. Necro was my first character. I wore damask all the way to my 50s in some slots, so it is doable for you too! Happy hunting!

This is great advice! Luckily I mainly play during off peak
