Hiw many of you guys like the animae Sword Art Online?

So I recently made a guild called Sword Art Online and I'm wondering how many people would actually relate there everquest experience to how Asuna and Kirito felt or been through? My guild was inspired solemnly off of the love that my old guild had given me. Anyway. Who likes Sword Art Online or even has heard of it? Those of you that didn't hear about it the gist of the Animae is.. That Kirito and Asuna is stuck in a video game now I don't want to give away to much spoilers are not good for the soul or the eyes! So.. What do you guys think?

I would also like to add that 4 or 5 episodes of those two in the cave gave me memories of this game where I too spent days in a cave here in EQ. Hit so close to home that I also played a female character checking out other female characters

Hai to Gensou no Grimgar is a closer fit of "Stuck in MMORPG/Fantasy" anime to Project1999 than Sword Art Online.

Well my guild was supposed to be discord again I didn't mean for it to be blue heh. I was supposed to corrupt the blue server with discord characters just for fun heh but it didn't work out that way heh.

SAO had promise, but went off the rails. Seemed rushed to get to an 14 episode arc. The orginal SAO arc should have been a better fleshed out 2 seasons.

ALO just pure garbage with incestuous undertones.

GGO WTF am I even watching anymore, FPS stuff blah!. Get back to SAO, then it was okay when they did for a few episodes. Only redeeming thing was Death Gun would be a cool Halloween costume

there were a few ps3 and vita games I think, single player no mmo style from what I understand.

read the light novel for SAO it is better than the Anime.

Although it really is all just regurgitated .HAK
the whole .HAK series and Playstation games IMHO were much better. The only real difference with SAO was everyone was stuck in the game.

much slower pace though and very introspective look at a person who doesn't know its a game or doesn't have memory of reality outside of it..

The OAVs for the dot Hack series fleshed out the series a lot more , but they came along with the PS Games..

And I agree with the SAO LN - there is more to the story. but anime or manga is more accessible to many.
