I challenge all of the members of this community to complete 100 push ups in 7 days.
We'll be going on the honor system and I'm interested to see how many of you can honestly complete this challenge. There is no reward, just the reward of knowing you're fit enough to do 100 push ups in a week.

Push ups must be done properly, no knee push ups or any other handicaps. Keep those backs straight! Bonus credits for 1 handed push ups or hand stand push ups.
I know this challenge will be super easy for some of you. So push yourself and report back on how many push ups you could complete in the 7 days. The idea is not to do all 100 in a day but if you can no problem. The idea is to do push ups everyday for 1 week as a physical test of endurance.

Remember to be honest, don't cheat yourself! Good Luck

February 17th, 2016 is the cut off date.

People should stick with my pvp body fitness plan.

It's pretty simple, 1 yt = 10 pushups, 20 pushups if you are the victim.

10 Situps every time you force opponent to zone

25 situps every time you plug

masturbate thrice daily

and you will be in great shape like all red players with pvp body

What about benchpress?
This challenge is only for push ups.

Please no one else ask about other exercises. My challenge to you all is simple 100 legitimate push-ups in 7 days. nothing more, nothing less. :)

What about benchpress? a 180lb person is pushing roughly 110 lbs during a pushup, so can we count 110lbs in a bench press 1 pushup? could we scale it up and say hypothetically, 1 BP at 220 would be 2 pushups, 1 at 330 would be 3 pushups ect?

I can win this challenge in the span of a single set if so.

listen to this millennial and the handouts hes asking for. Just do as many as you can you fat bastard.

pushups are objectively one of the most negroid forms of exercise

Something ive been doing during downtime / med breaks / to get me out of my chair: squats

Its weird at first since its such a goofy position, but it gets the blood circulating on long gaming binges.

I have a severe wrist injury, and doing push-ups is seriously detrimental to me. Since we aren't allowed to ask about other exercises, meh.

Nothing so exciting. Foolishly tried to stop a ton of shit from crashing over years ago, and ripped up the tendons and shit in my wrist from it. It never really healed properly, and I've been instructed to refrain from heavy lifting and push-up type exercises with it.

That takes me back to my incarceration days

I used to study martial arts, and the school I was at had us do our push-ups on our knuckles. I don't think I could ever do 300 at once though.

What were you studying? I practiced aikido from like 12 until 20 (steven segal is a retard, don't pay attention to him), and practiced kendo from 15 until about 25.

I first started Tae Kwon Do(I know) when I was about 11-15. I competed in about a half dozen tournaments during that time. I learned a lot about calisthenics and what not during that time. Then i went to American Kenpo from 16 -21 which taught me a lot about getting out of sticky situations involving being mugged, blind-sided, and basically a myriad of ways of snapping peoples arms.

Well today was back day at the gym, and I just finished practicing some guitar work. This sounds like fun though. So I'm in. Did one clean set of 15 tonight: back straight, arms reached slightly lower than 90 degrees, and even rhythm. Figure since I already did chest this week ill keep an even set each day. :o

Also: 210lbs 6'0.

I always felt like tae kwon do (the way it's taught in the US) is more of a show sport than an actual combat art. Sparred a lot of people using tkd and never had a problem. Could have just been that they didnt know how to impliment it and just tried to fight by doing katas. Kenpo is stronk though. I always wanted to give Krav maga a try but the closest school is like 3 hours from me.

You are correct. Generally, what I found is that TKD schools in the US are mainly something you send your kid to after school so that they aren't sitting on their ass. Mainly the "master" was really a salesman and all they really did was teach the kids how to stretch their muscles and do jumping jacks. I went to a school where the master was pretty legit(at least I thought so). TKD from my experience is highly based off kicks, and your legs, so if you are trying to keep someone away, its pretty easy if you know what you're doing. And yea, if you are trying to spar using kata, you're going to have a bad time. Lol.

THE AXE KICK

I've also used a ridge hand IRL. Let's just say the dudes nose looked like Owen Wilson's afterwards. One of the only times I had to fight someone I just side stepped and ridged em.

Day 2 of 100 push ups in 7 days.

Some real quick math. 100/7 = 14.28 Lets round that up to 15 every day for 7 days to easily complete this challenge.

Yesterday my form was a little off so I did some extras to make sure I wasn't cheating myself. After all this challenge is about testing ones self physical and mentally endurance.
Remembering to do them may be half the battle for some people. :p

I'll save my total number for the final day. Hope everyone who is participating is feeling some burn in their arms at least.
Good Luck! :)

Day 3 of 100 push ups in 7 days.
You have become better at push ups! (#)

Feeling good today did a lot more then yesterday. Despite it only being 3 days so far I feel like they're easier to do.

I'm not shocked by the lack of responses at this point.

Day 6! I haven't forgotten and I'm sure all the people who said this was an easy challenge have not forgotten either ;) . At this point I feel like I could publicly feel confident in my push up abilities. Let myself go this winter and I need to get fit for this coming summer. I'm going to the beach! :)

Tomorrow at night is when final results are in.

Thread seems pretty dead in the water.
My final tally was 385 in 7 days, Just finished my last set. My strategy was as follows 20 in the morning, 15 in the after noon and 20 before bed. I still have a ways to go but I feel if I can keep this up i can reach my goal before this summer. Also taking some long walks when the weather isn't ice will be nice. There are some nice hiking trails around where I live and they're easy to access.

Challenge complete! :)
