I LOVE YOU!!! (in-game gamma set to 31% ish which almost matched how bright screen was before EQ loads)

7pm, in West Karana near North Karana zone line

How do you customize your buttonset etc like that? I have duxaUI also, but my boxes are all square

Be me, EQ developer. I've never camped in my life, I don't know that on a clear night with stars and a moon it can be as bright as day out and I also don't know that brightness is multiplied with snow on the ground.

Yes what Suddz said about the UI, far too much talk about UI and not enough about vision. I saw a RnF thread where someone was bitching about being blind af after the sky was updated so I assume that is what did this?

Yes! I think someone mentioned gamma should be about 21% so I had it too high.

Not many, i swear that damn kittens guild is stealing folks. Not on the Chromebook as I let the battery run out and apparently that screws up a bios setting which requires you to boot back into chromeOS.. Which I had wiped :mad:

Buttons? Like the [ 1 ] [ 2 ] stuff? That's just what I named the macro's. Straight up copied the layout from my bard so those are a bunch of /stopsong thingies.

Demands? Just praising staff. Velious era didn't have the "classic" UI either, if it helps I am using /viewport

Yup it's classic alright. Had to go to kedge and camp the Pearlescent mask because I couldn't do shit without acumen or some kind of vision buff at night.

Perhaps I was using wrong phrasing. People praise stuff like terrible night vision for humans and no buff timers, then turn around and use non-classic UI and junk like gina to get around the transparent flaws of a true a pure classic interface.

Saw this myself tonight, ran into an air elemental in East Commons figured I'd fraps the death, rendered the video and thought something was broken. Ui showed up fine rest was black, at least until I reached the guard torches.

Perhaps I phrased incorrectly as well in the OP. I'm not with the classic police in any form, don't much care either way about buff timers and target rings etc.. but I really did miss the old school night blindness and was glad to see its return.
