It was brought to my attention that I missed a few days of kills, silly me!

Our kills up to June 16th were posted, but we were suspended shortly thereafter...

I posted our kills from after the suspension until July 9th. I missed the 10th through the 14th, and started back up on the 15th. I'm not sure how that constitutes "3 weeks" after our suspension, but anyway, sorry about the lack of update.

I missed upgrades like Aata's Ring of Destruction, Samila's Silver Chains, Apocaly's Wurmscale Fistwraps, Henrique's Dain Head, Tauntz's Trident of the Deep Sea, Beldron's Vambraces of Impiety, and Ancient Wurm Hide Greaves, Turaloyn's Breastplate of Eradication, and four primals to boot.

With all due respect, we had a single runner for Doze (me) - Steelz. And I was ranger tracking it. Resources were thin at the time. One thing I'll admit even though I wasn't there : CT was a shit show. Sometimes shit hits the fan, but we all get back up and I'd say both guilds had a decent week. This game has seriously turned into a racing game lol. It's actually quite hilarious but I have to say the racing is sorta fun. I just wish windows were shorter.

Next repop when you get down to the Vulak race, can you require all racers involved consume a stack of alcohol in game? I think that race would be hilarious if you're sliding around as you try to strafe.

I'm not trying to "spin" anything. I saw doze pop up on track (I had bind sight on Eashen at the time as I used chipped bone rods to track my corpse). When I saw Doze pop on ranger track I dropped bind sight, shouted in Teamspeak and I saw you guys running already at the top of the stairs and I followed fast as I could. There was no one in AM running for doze but me as far as I can tell. I did what I could but I don't know why you think I'm lying. You don't know me sure, but I don't bullshit, so if something happened I wasn't aware of then so be it, but as far as I knew the bards were both outside sowing when he popped.

All of the weekly mobs spawning on the same day sure makes tracking more exciting!

I see a lot of complaining about being locked into mobs preventing guilds from going for others... My suggestion is, plan better. <Awakened> had a great time this past week. Before we got rolling on Sunday, we squeezed in 6 ST Golems, a Ring War, a Statue of Rallos Zek, a Tunare, and a Draco on top!

Our Sunday started off slow, but really picked up when Lord Yelinak and Cazic Thule spawned. We jumped into gear, engaging Lord Yelinak, killing him, and rushing over to Plane of Fear to meet up with our Aftermath friends already on scene. When we realized we had some time, we decided to dispatch Dozekar the Cursed and went back to Plane of Fear to check on the progress there. We quickly realized that there was some AE'ing to be done, so we took care of that, and went on to kill Cazic Thule himself.

After a few Temple of Veeshan kills, the zone was primed for a Vulak spawn, and so were we. He was the last mob of the day to spawn, which elated our troops, as we rushed to engage him. All signs pointed to another Brutillus gold, but Ghuol leaped over him at the last second, snatching the glory for skeletons everywhere.

At last, the day was over and we were all able to move our characters out of the Temple!

Showing dedication and tenacity, <Awakened> has been scavenging corpses and spreading the wealth. We started the week off right with 6 ST Golems, 2 Zlandicars, and 2 Dracos before Sunday Respawns started.

As the fog was just rising, and for others still setting, a wild Lord Yelinak appeared. Our Euro crew jumped into action, as it was almost lunch time for them and they didn't want their tea and baguettes to get cold. Unfortunately, lunch had to wait, because after dropping Lord Yelinak uncontested, Zlexak had to show his face. Naturally, the crew moved over to the Temple to dispatch him as well.

The day continued to pass, one FTE after another... Lord Koi`Doken, Ikatiar the Venom, Lord Feshlak. The corpses piled up. As Eratani went to Sonic, because Chik-fil-A is closed on Sundays, Lady Mirenilla spawned. Another race was had, Eratani started to cry. How could he miss a mob? This QQ turned into sour grapes when he learned he not only missed one mob, but two. Lord Kreizenn decided to stop by while we were setting up for Lady Mirenilla. Some would ask if he was her "+1". Nevertheless, Lady Mirenilla joined the corpse count, and we all had our laughs at Eratani's misfortune.

A few hours later, Cazic Thule decided to test our force. Waiting until a prime time on Sunday was not smart, as the Plane of Fear saw numbers upwards of 120 people. After we cleared Draco and the trash in the zone, our fearless competition snagged big boy Cazic Thule from our poor monk's fingers. I don't think they knew how many adds were still up, because this wound up disastrous for them. After a nail-bitter, <Awakened> picked up the lonesome Cazic Thule and dropped him faster than getting a Little Ceasar's Hot-N-Ready pizza.

Some of <Awakened>'s lazier PST players were now waking up, and wanted in on the action; we obliged with an Aaryonar and Dozekar kill. But as our significant others started asking what we would want to do about dinner, mobs started poppin` off.

Dain decided to show his ugly mug first. As we formed up outside his Keep, we were met by many of his guards. They told us they were not there for us, but for our rivals. This left us alone, underneath this small dwarf Keep. As we worked on recovering, Cekenar surprised our crew inside the dragon's Temple, but not enough to slow them down! We quickly downed Cekenar, and decided it was time for Dain.

As we got everyone back over to the Keep, King Tormax thought it would be cool to see if anyone was paying attention to his kingdom. Well, Raato was. CSG claimed their 3rd King Tormax FTE, later resulting in their 3rd KT kill in a row. This left <Awakened> poised for a Dain kill, and kill him we did.

After we moved back to the Temple, there was a long break in the action. Dinners were had, probably some late lunches as well. Finally, over the course of about two hours, six mobs saw their lives perish. <Awakened> came out with Jorlleag, Eashen, Lord Vyemm, and Klandicar. That, in essence, only left big bad Vulak.

A few hours passed, allowing us to wipe the sweat from our brows. Finally, in the wee hours of the AM, Vulak spawned. <Awakened>, ready as always, came out with the engage, leading to a big red dragon's corpse. Normally, that would be the end of it, as the Temple had been vanquished. Unfortunately, not this week, for the Statue of Rallos Zek had just gone into window.

As many of our US based members sat at work, our Euro crew stepped up again, downing not only Statue, but the Avatar of War himself. Many cheers were had, as this was the first solo guild kill in a while, due to bad timing of spawns.

After taking care of some more ST Golems and Sevalak, it was time for a break. /phew, what a week (and a day). Honestly, tremendous work. Let's just recap.

What do a Ring War, a cycle of ST Golems, Zlandicar, Draco, and the Statue in the image of Rallos Zek have in common? Not much. You have giants, crystal golems, a somewhat living dragon, a skeleton of a dinosaur with wings.. and a... stone statue? No problem, <Awakened> killed them anyway.

The Avatar of War, however, lived to see another spawn. Was tough going for an early morning vacation weekend. Nevertheless, we gave it a great attempt, since no one else decided to contest him.

When we showed up to the first spawn of the cycle, a late night Yelinak, we got our first taste of the new duo in action. Rustle brought some real power hitters to assist Aftermath in the slaying of this beast. Well, we didn't let that spoil our fun. Our Euro crew, again capitalizing on the lazy Americans, bagged us a Lord Koi`Doken.

After a somewhat smooth Dain kill, we gained some momentum inside ToV, slaying Aaryonar, Lord Feshlak, Lady Nevederia, Eashen of the Sky, and Dozekar the Cursed. In the middle of this slaughter, Rustle hinted that the new arrangement was only on targets outside of the foot race, by solo killing Ikatiar and co-raiding Cekenar with Venerate. (*Side grats to those guilds, especially Venerate, who seems to have a decent crew of people... Ring Wars, ToV attempts... Doing something right.*)

This week, Cazic Thule graced us with his presence during prime time, causing the Plane of Fear to see 175 people from a slew of guild tags. <Awakened> laid out Draco and Terror, and since we are telling tales of how we didn't get mobs that we might have had, had we gotten them, <Awakened> had a pretty good attempt on Cazic Thule. Unfortunately with the amount of people and the AoE lag, we had quite a few desyncs leading to a mob gating and summoning our tank. This is no good when Cazic decides he still wants to kill said tank and runs off to catch him! As we recovered, we heard shouting from across the zone. The return of CH Chains in shout, leading to many /ignore's, seems to be in the future.

No problem though. Still some big names to come! We went back to ToV with two new Grotesque Girdles, and took on Lendiniara the Keeper, Jorlleag, and Dagarn the Destroyer.

After giving Lord Vyemm a go early on Monday morning, the decision was made to let him stretch his legs for a few hours, until Klandicar enticed our members out of bed. We decided to dig graves for both of these guys, and capped the week off with a relaxing Vindicator kill.

Pretty solid week, and holiday weekend. See you all on the battlefield next weekend!

I don't know how else to view Daldaen's proposal. He specifically states that it would be an agreement between guilds that race for the statue, i.e. A/A, and that he doesn't want a rotation. As Detoxx says, there is no incentive for CSG etc to let that happen.

I made the choice to leave the zerging and poopsocking (let's not kid ourselves and call this racing; you spend 16 hours socking vs 1 minute of racing. By that logic we would all refer to 'Trump's Hair' as a presidential candidate) behind for Rustle, and you don't see me complaining about my lack of Vulak loots in the past three months.

Dald's idea is to simply leave Statue alive while at the same time asking all guilds to respect the initial FTE of whichever guild acquired it. This would come with a grace period to 'schedule' when you would down Statue since AoW despawns after an hour thusly you have to basically plan an AoW raid more so than Statue.

Sure, we can do the respect fte for 24 hours but if all of us don't agree it means nothing and I don't see any reason why csg or rustle would. That and the issue of fte lockout if he's on a raid day.

Why would CSG or Rustle not agree to it? A 24 hour timer on Statue would benefit all guilds because they can leave it up until a time when they will be able to muster and adequately prepare enough force to kill AoW, no matter who. The purpose is to stop wasting AoWs that pop at retarded hours. You still get to kill Statue whenever you want, whether that means immediately after you FTE or 23 hours from that time. If you want to kill Statue without the means to attempt AoW immediately afterwards, that's on you and it's whatever - but at least you had the option to wait.

The lock-in on raid days is the only sticking point I could imagine with this, but it's possible that Sirken could be asked to back a player-made agreement about that, just as he has done with ToV agreements, as long as all parties are on board with it.

I think your anger is misdirected Raev, and you clearly don't understand the intent of the 24 hours. It's not a slight at guilds not named A/A, it's to make it easier for any guild, even CSG and Rustle (imagine that!) to kill a super dumb mob that always seems to spawn at super dumb hours.

What does poopsocking raid targets have to do with it? What we're saying is the guild with Statue FTE gets 24 hours. If you don't race for Statue how else are you going to kill it anyway under the current ruleset unless you're strictly waiting for vulture kills?

Halliel: Interestingly, humans don't think that way. There is a famous psychological experiment here: two players were given a sum of money. The first player got to divide it among them, and the second player could either accept or reject this division, in which case both players got nothing. A purely rational second player will take any nonzero amount of money, since it's better than nothing. But most people rejected anything substantially less than 50/50. This actually makes a good deal of sense, since in most cases these kind of scenarios are repetitive and holding out means the next time the divider will have an incentive to offer more.

TLDR: In my humble opinion, you guys are nuts to think that the non-poopsocking guilds will leave a pixel pinata like the Statue up without significant concessions on your part. But, I'm just a peon. Why don't you try asking the leadership? Maybe they see it your way.

Raev of course there would be less joint kills from A/A trickling down but what I meant was Venerate, CSG, Rustle etc could suddenly have a reason to track/FTE Statue together since they could plan the AoW kill as a joint effort and actually you know, schedule it! Otherwise it is impossible for any of those guilds to kill AoW without it being an A/A co-raid, he despawns too quickly for most guilds to muster the right amount of players even for us hardcore nerds.

Would more often than not A/A simply kill the Statue and get more AoWs from this agreement - yes - but at least the option and path would be paved for the smaller guilds to not depend on A/A to down their own AoW should they decide to track Statue which again I wanna stress would become way more appetizing to track knowing AoW would be coming no matter what.

High-fiving each other after a FTE kill because you're good at "racing" always cracks me up with 16h variance. The "racers" are a small percentage of server players who are able to compete or willing. If anyone wants to really high-five each other about winning races, we should remove variance. A real competitive race would be securing an FTE on a race where all (or many) server players and guilds know the exact spawn time.

A/A FTE "races" are basically the Barkley Marathons of p99. No one knows the exact start time and few are invited to even have the pleasure to not know when it starts. Everyone high-fives each other because its a pleasure to even be invited to join. Finishing it is the "hardest thing ever" because of its made up bullshit rules and mind games which add no real value other than artificial difficulties.

It's a great feeling when your turn is finally up for a Veeshan's Peak clear... It only comes around so often these days. <Awakened> took advantage of our fortune and scheduled the clear for a prime time beat down. Within an hour, all six dragons had been slain. The down side was walking away pretty empty handed aside from a shiny Robe of the Azure Sky and a Shroud of Veeshan.

The following morning, <Awakened> crushed our third consecutive Statue of Rallos Zek. He was generous enough to bless us with two Breastplate of Eradication. Unfortunately, as with the previous kill, we were unable to muster a sizeable force for Avatar of War. He decided to take his ball and go home, leaving the question of what might have been.

Only after finishing up Sleeper's Tomb Golems, coming away with a Primal Velium Spear, <Awakened> was up for Tunare. The clear took a few hours, leaving us stranded when Zlandicar spawned, but no problem! We came away from the Plane of Growth with many great items including an Essence of Nature, a Petrified Heartwood Flamberge, and a Girdle of Living Thorns.

As we left Growth, the weekly spawns were already upon us. When Lord Yelinak spawned at 1 in the morning, <Awakened> was unable to match the forces of the alliance, RAM, proving that more is more.

After taking out Aaryonar and Lord Koi`Doken, with only a Greaves of the Deep Sea to show for it, we tried our luck with King Tormax. That's right, Eratani secured us our first Ken Tormax in quite awhile. The wait was worth it, as we walked out of the frozen kingdom with a pair of Boots of the Storm and the obligatory King Tormax's Head.

The day was only just beginning, as <Awakened>'s tracking crew secured us more and more. Zlexak, Cekenar, Lord Feshlak, Lady Mirenilla, Eashen of the Sky; the named kept coming, all culminating with a Claw of Lightning.

As socks were reaching full capacity, Cazic Thule gave us a taste of his zone's new mechanics. Lag was a major issue with somewhere near 170 people in the zone. <Awakened> dealt with it, cleared the zone, and made sure to secure the pull before car RamRod swooped in. Facing the god of Fear proved simple enough; it seemed like the toughest part was not desyncing due to the massive force of onlookers.

Not two hours later, Vulak`Aerr made <Awakened> gather again, as Valtron's Necklace of Wonder and Akkirus' Mask of Warfare were ripped from his cold scaly hide. The remainder of the night into Monday morning went off without a hitch. Jorlleag, Lady Nevederia, Gozzrem, Telkorenar all fell to the swords of <Awakened>.

As our east coasters were getting ready for work, the last few mobs spawned. <Awakened> picked up a quick Sevalak kill while watching the Super Troopers have their way with Vyemm.

<Awakened> capped our week off with a Primal Velium Warsword, another Breastplate of Eradication off our fourth consecutive Statue of Rallos Zek kill, and a very satisfying Avatar of War kill. Even if he dropped 3x Blade of Carnage and a Flayed Barbarian Hide Mask, the satisfaction came from still being the only guild able to kill this beast without help.

Another great week for <Awakened>. 13 Temple of Veeshan kills, Cazic Thule, and a complete week of Kael kills were some of the highlights. That's right, both Statues, King Tormax, and the only Avatar kill of the week.

It was fun to watch! It looked smooth for about the first 50% or so, then you guys started pushing him around for some reason that I don't understand, tanks started dying, and it kind of descended from there until finally I was brutally 1-rounded while trying for a faction hit.

I don't see why the number of guild tags is more important than the number of players, though.

Eratani secured us our first Ken Tormax in quite awhile.
Next up: Fingerz secures your first Barbie Tunare . . .

The number of players is important, but it also is fun to do things on your own, win or lose. We attempted Avatar one of these past spawns on our own with mid 50s I believe, and wiped letting him despawn. It was worth the attempt because you can't learn unless you try. You also can't win unless you attempt. Anyway, we only had mid 60s for this Avatar kill. Not the lowest we have had, but an impressive number less than our normal 70s and higher than our struggling 30s.

Ken Tormax is does not play with Barbie Tunare however. Eratani has done a lot of research on Ken, studying his every move. It was getting to a point where we all started to wonder about him...

It's a great feeling when your turn is finally up for a Veeshan's Peak clear... It only comes around so often these days. <Awakened> took advantage of our fortune and scheduled the clear for a prime time beat down. Within an hour, all six dragons had been slain. The down side was walking away pretty empty handed aside from a shiny Robe of the Azure Sky and a Shroud of Veeshan.

The following morning, <Awakened> crushed our third consecutive Statue of Rallos Zek. He was generous enough to bless us with two Breastplate of Eradication. Unfortunately, as with the previous kill, we were unable to muster a sizeable force for Avatar of War. He decided to take his ball and go home, leaving the question of what might have been.

Only after finishing up Sleeper's Tomb Golems, coming away with a Primal Velium Spear, <Awakened> was up for Tunare. The clear took a few hours, leaving us stranded when Zlandicar spawned, but no problem! We came away from the Plane of Growth with many great items including an Essence of Nature, a Petrified Heartwood Flamberge, and a Girdle of Living Thorns.

As we left Growth, the weekly spawns were already upon us. When Lord Yelinak spawned at 1 in the morning, <Awakened> was unable to match the forces of the alliance, RAM, proving that more is more.

After taking out Aaryonar and Lord Koi`Doken, with only a Greaves of the Deep Sea to show for it, we tried our luck with King Tormax. That's right, Eratani secured us our first Ken Tormax in quite awhile. The wait was worth it, as we walked out of the frozen kingdom with a pair of Boots of the Storm and the obligatory King Tormax's Head.

The day was only just beginning, as <Awakened>'s tracking crew secured us more and more. Zlexak, Cekenar, Lord Feshlak, Lady Mirenilla, Eashen of the Sky; the named kept coming, all culminating with a Claw of Lightning.

As socks were reaching full capacity, Cazic Thule gave us a taste of his zone's new mechanics. Lag was a major issue with somewhere near 170 people in the zone. <Awakened> dealt with it, cleared the zone, and made sure to secure the pull before car RamRod swooped in. Facing the god of Fear proved simple enough; it seemed like the toughest part was not desyncing due to the massive force of onlookers.

Not two hours later, Vulak`Aerr made <Awakened> gather again, as Valtron's Necklace of Wonder and Akkirus' Mask of Warfare were ripped from his cold scaly hide. The remainder of the night into Monday morning went off without a hitch. Jorlleag, Lady Nevederia, Gozzrem, Telkorenar all fell to the swords of <Awakened>.

As our east coasters were getting ready for work, the last few mobs spawned. <Awakened> picked up a quick Sevalak kill while watching the Super Troopers have their way with Vyemm.

<Awakened> capped our week off with a Primal Velium Warsword, another Breastplate of Eradication off our fourth consecutive Statue of Rallos Zek kill, and a very satisfying Avatar of War kill. Even if he dropped 3x Blade of Carnage and a Flayed Barbarian Hide Mask, the satisfaction came from still being the only guild able to kill this beast without help.

Another great week for <Awakened>. 13 Temple of Veeshan kills, Cazic Thule, and a complete week of Kael kills were some of the highlights. That's right, both Statues, King Tormax, and the only Avatar kill of the week.

Another great week. It's so impressive to see how attention to detail, preparation, and teamwork can allow our saucy rabble of players to achieve things that no one else on the server has been able to. It's truly a testament to the dedication of so many, the leadership of a few, and the willingness of players to contribute what they can. A month has passed since my last update. We have seen many amazing items in this time period, but I think it's safe to say the *two* Gharn's would be the highlight.
