View Full Version : Fastest 1-60 five man premade group

What five man group would level 1-60 the fastest? Also what would you consider a fun five man group you wish you could try out?

I am in an existing premade group of warrior, cleric, enchanter, monk, druid. We do pretty well, got to level 30 so far. Just curious about my above questions if we were to start up an alt five man group.

5 bards. 24 hours / 5 players = 4.8 hours per player, per day to cycle out AE grinding while the others afk.

For fun, you can set the afk 4 bards up like traffic cones in the kiting area for the other bard to "drift" around like Ken Block in a Gymkhana video.

Rogue (or swap in Mage/Monk/Ranger for slightly lower DPS but added utility)

You could think up a number of combos that would hit 50 faster than this, but this would probably do 1-60 faster than almost anything else due to catching up on the back end. Paladin tank draws effortless agro and totally shuts down casters, 2x Rogues and a chanter pet provide massive DPS and Shaman slows (plus clarity on the Pal) mean you won't even miss a Cleric.

Warrior is more dps and doesn't need to med.
Enchanters with pets are more dps than rogues.
Shaman isn't worth having if you have enchanters. (a 60 shaman with torpor is amazing but that is not what we're talking about here)
Cleric with enchanters is amazing especially when the cleric gets Stun Command.

No knight class should need to med if clarity/c2 is provided.

TBH 5 is already too many for most camps.

That stun spell, so good for Pally tanks. Combined with bash, I solo casters pretty handily.

4 rangers using archery...and 1 mage to make some arrows.. !!!

The fastest leveling? Maybe not....

But the most fun? Yea!!!!

Just imagine....your own little archers collective!! The mage pet could even tank stuff at level 51+ so the archers all double their damage!! No root needed!!

4 enchanters, 1 cleric. Once you hit a level where pets start out damaging players I don't see anyone keeping up with 4 enchanters being able to lawnmower through any dungeon in the game.

5 bards might give it a run for their money, only problem is that I don't think there are enough mobs in burning woods to continuously pull. 5 bards getting through 59 solely AE kiting will take a long time.

Half long warrior, cleric, and 2 rogues (xp bonus!) and an enchanter any race.

Hobbits will make rank faster than enchanter with the Warrior/rogues making 60 first.

1 druid and 5 enchanters. Druid for group regen, group sow, transportation and the occasional heals and 5 enchanters for pets.

Cleric, shaman, enchanter, enchanter and an .. enchanter or another cleric. Charm stuff. Haste stuff. Slow stuff. Kill stuff.

Basically, a cleric/enchanter is ridiculous, so you just stack more of the same onto that frame.

shaman debuffs make the enchanters lives easier.

Shaman and enchanter in the same group work well together - especially if you have an aggressive puller. Within seconds of mobs hitting camp everything is mezzed and slowed 75%. Shaman malo helps with charm duration, and not expecting the enchanter to slow really does free the ench up to focus on mez work and fully utilize their charmed pet.

+ 1 dps, pick your poison here (monk, magician, rogue)

SK can pull if you have no monk, and cleric/enchanter/shaman support each other in a way that provides for good dps while minimizing deaths and rez time.

If you are never planning on doing anything dangerous at all, you could probably replace the cleric or shaman with another dps. But that sounds like a boring way to level to 60.

Can even try and use intimidation x4 to land every so often to fear mobs, but not sure if root works in that situation

5x Iksar necros, use undead nukes and pets until 54, then Howling Stones with undead charm and flatten the zone.
