Dear Spun,
I am sorry I offered to port you monday night. While I was waiting for my group of cool and normal friends to gather, I saw a lot of people looking for ports.
You kindly payed me 60 plat in advance, I proceeded to cast my self-only port, rather then the group port. Which on closer inspection I didn't even buy yet.
As I was memorizing my port so I could get back to you to at least repay you, you bombarded me with angry tells. I offered to repay you, but you didn't even want that.
Its the principals, right.

Do they really suspend people for this? I have seen people ported to Toxx before when asking and donating for a WC port. It was pretty amusing.

this while thing got me upset, i mean i did initially offer to pay the guy back, in fact i offered him 200 platinumz, to no avail
what could i do? being the lowlife scumbag i am, yet having been blessed with wealth well beyond 59 platinum?

you can get suspended for it if they paid for the port (its considered defrauding players in a trade) but it's barely ever enforced and the guy you're porting would have to be a huge baby to even report that.

i found this entire thing pretty funny
when i started here, i scraped together 15 plat, so i could get a port to butcherblock without completely insulting the porter
some haffer druid (taunto came), took my plat, and told me to gtfo
few weeks after i had made lvl 55ish, found a hole group, and Teah ninjaed the IGS i won, after that pvp ensued and i was left with a solo CR halfway done that place
staff told me to gtfo
i guess its nice to see there are still new players on the server, how the heck did they ever get ntov gear though :)

there should really be harsher punishments for using ports to grief people

some friends alt ported me into a spire with 6 wizards waiting to blast the other week, i thought it was pretty funny and commended them on successfully tricking me. even paid 100p for that port.
only time i think a player should be punished for griefing w/ ports, is when druids trick noobs into thinking they're casting pack buffs and instead port them somewhere dangerous. and even then, only if it were a repeat offender.

I logged on Red today for first time in months. My 56 Wiz was in CoM and some dude asked for a port (Mauvro from Casual Scum) so I ported him. He said "Thanks" and walked away. I figured if he wasn't going to tip me I was going to take it myself so I started nuking him. He ran away like a bitch to Neriak and plugged. When he came back I told him next time he should tip his porter or they might try to kill him. I sat at the zoneout invis and he doesn't have a see invis item (derp) so he didn't know I was there. Nuked him and he plugged again. He comes back a 2nd time and says "Sorry for no tip I'll go to bank now" or something. I follow him invis into neriak. He goes "Where u at?" I told him to meet me at the zone to foreign quarter. Sat there invis at top of ledge and ice cometed him into another dimension soon as I saw him and collected my 53pp.
Red is good for some lulz sometimes I guess.
