You know, some defensive pundits I saw the other day made a decent point. If any fucking candidate wants to talk on Morning Joe (or whoever), the line is open. Most candidates want to be very prepared before they get on the phone with someone like Scarborough. Trump doesn't care, he just tweets and calls personally.

Bernie could do the same thing with fuckin Bill'O if he wanted to. He could make friends with any liberal show. He doesn't call anyone at 7 in the morning on a whim and say "you got that all wrong Joe."

Of course the media likes Trump because hes a ratings magnet. Believe it or not, that's mostly what they care about. Unless the owners whisper in the editor's ear (which happens way more then they admit), there is a bias toward whatever they think gets most viewers.

This is why main news networks stop playing politics, and switch to disaster porn 24/7 when something bad goes down (except Fox for some reason). They don't even care about you (the political audience), they care about the disaster audience that turns to the news when disasters happen.

What the media wants, is a contested convention (they keep playing this up) and Trump to win -- only after a shitstorm. Then they want a close general election where Trump barely loses; but this is only after Clinton barely makes it out of a conviction. This is what they want because it will keep everyone glued there. They don't want to let you all know: Hillary won this shit years ago, and shes a pretty damn typical boring centrist.

Trouble is that the postings on sites like this of tongue in cheek ribbing are taken as serious opinions by the media which shapes their programming as well. Trump is essentially the internet condensed into a prepackaged 80's hair piece.
