Are Monks needed??

Soo are monks valuable like they were back in the original days? Thinking about tring this server and curious. Any info that you guys think will be helpfull is welcome.

The best advice is to just play the class you want to play.

Monk are probably in the middle in need from what i understand but when Kunark comes out there will be an influx of monks for sure.

I played a monk for years on live and I will never play a pure melee in EQ again. So many more buttons to click as a hybrid/caster :)

Monks are absolutely terrible at 1-30.
