I play on Red firstly, I am debating making a warrior since its the 1 class I have NEVER had a 60 let alone a 30+ of on red. I really want to do an ogre warrior for its frontal stun immunity, But when it comes to dungeons I do not want to be fumbling around with shrink pots and crap getting stuck without them. So I am leaning towards a iksar(between fungi, innate regen, AC boost) they seem like the second best choice.

Plan on starting off with a venomous axe and entropy whip for aggro/quick kills, probably some sort of dragon haste. a 2h 30/36 lance OR a reaver but downside of reaver not magic and cost more then the lance. Then I have a bunch of random dragonhide gear, crystal chitin pieces, dhb and such. Might sound selfish but I refuse to play a ogre warrior without an aon just due to fatness and ive lost kills on pvp, or died due to not being able to fit or having to duck through dungeons before.

Any suggestions or opinions appreciated. 2h lance should be sufficient for pvp jousting, the whip + eventually a loddy club or willsapper would be more then sufficient aggro i think. ora frostbringer

1) entrophy whip will cause more harm than good in a dungeon once it starts proc'ing. blind is fucking awful!
2) venomous axe isn't great threat later on but it's great for leveling
3) reaver - see goblin skull earring
4) warrior piercing cap is lower than blunt or slashing, just something to keep in mind if you're already min/maxing
5) willsapper+frosty will be fine threat later on - could cycle in a infestation too for +dex and poison proc

I actually looked up the reaver on allakhazam and found some comments of people saying use grim aura to make it magic.. and then a few comments stating it wasn't true

classic myth that made it over to p99 and still fooled us

so classic

iksar warrior already in the works, level 21. only using a lammy and the blind whip I had already works just fine, Has a mix of CC armor with some dragon hide armor etc. So far, so fun.

Pretty fun so far, Picked up a oggok cleaver and a 30/36 2h from DN. I have fond memories of leveling up a rogue and running into a ogre warrior in MM who took his fungi off around 30-35% health and double crippled me for 400s for an instant death. I might fly by those levels and maybe not see any pvp but figured I would keep it for the luls. Frostbite/Entropy whip is great atm, Blind procs on basically everyone I have fought and at a very high rate. Just wish kick stun was sooner...

Tanking groups sub 60 would it benefit at all to go with a shield or just stay dual wield? I have 0 issue holding aggro with taunt alone atm, procs just seal the deal.

using a shield would just make you a less-effective knight, and your threat will drop off considerably

warriors are not exactly slouches when it comes to dps - make use of that

Duel Wield will skill up, even when wearing a shield, so you might consider using a shield for the first few levels after training duel wield until your skill reaches a decent amount, but largely speaking you don't want to use a shield on a warrior.

If you need to bash (heal interrupt) quickly swap a shield into secondary and out again.

Yeah, can't wait for that kick stun. Going to have a Willsapper on my warrior soon as possible, even pre 50 if need be so hes ready. I had a wavecrasher prior, on my ranger but dont really regret selling it. for the easy plat I got for it, The frostbringer/whip combo is plenty of aggro. And willsapper will be just fine I think. Can't wait to loot a decent warrior 2h from ntov, Or just settle for dain axe maybe even tormax who knows.
