Disable "Thunder" sound

Does anyone have a walkthrough of how to disable the "Thunder" sound? I just can't take it anymore.

Someone from the live servers when I was playing on Ragefire had a nice write-up of some files to delete and modify and I am hoping someone on this server knows how to do it with what we have. It also allowed to disable other really annoying sounds, basically any that you wanted.

Yes, his link he provided gives all the details. Just simply opening a text file and deleting what you don't want. Works great!

thunder sound is cozy. I wish Wake of Karana would turn rain on as well as off.

jungle "CHIRP CHIRP CHIRP (YAWWWWW) CAW CAW CAW", on the other hand, is highly annoying.

Lightning is just SUPER loud in comparison to everything else

Almost shit my pants my first time in lavastorm cuz that shit has bass so my subwoofers made it even louder
