I'm not worried about the overall speed I'm happy just to outrun most mobs. Its also nice that if I need to afk (which i do alot) I'm not wasting a potion charge, thus wasting money. Secondly and most importantly I had the money.

For most classes yes, but will disagree on a wizard, those mana free Plat free boosts in speed is invaluable to a quad kiting wizard.

Instant sow on the run is huge for most classes. Don't really approve of one person monopolizing a spawn year-round but if it's legal it's legal.

I wonder how many people even remember waiting in lines at najena. The line went all the way back to lavastorm on fennin in the early days. Insanity.
