i actually reached out to jupe and apologized to him even tho he kept posting logs from our chat outside of everqest, I mean if i really wanted to be an asshole I could of really hit em where it hurts. In the end Jupe is very sick and he doesn't care anymore, the guy will be lucky if he lives longer than 5 years, it's really sad.

Honestly I like Banksy...and I agree with the sentiment that a primal rogue who's regulary top or 2nd dps (usually by 2x dps the next non afk rogue) over a manarobe was not a longsighted decision.

Sure he lied about it, sure he did it. But you ousted a very helpful steady high RA, high DPS rogue over a lies and diamonds (every raid someones ninja looting these things) story when you have people openly rmting peoples toons as they quit in the guild.

(There's literally only a few people in a guild the size of <tempest> that helps others outside of raids).

Jupe and agatha played with CS for a while and I was guildies with them in GG. Back in GG I caught them black holeing loots and recovered it.

Both of them are good button pushers and very helpful but officers need to make kill groups and keep them out.

Just manage the assets you have and know your players.

Bad leaders don't know how to handle this and reward retards like Sektors instead of realizing how vital real good players are. It is why DKP ultimately is a failure as well. Players learn how to do as little as possible and still get the pixels they want. It is why retards are sitting AFK fd in a wall instead of making contributions the leaders witness and make note of.

As Colgate says, you don't have to trust others when you are an officer, you just have to know how to lead. Make sure Agatha/Jupe are in a kill group with an officer if you care so much on real raid bosses. If you are scared about losing a trak item at this poitn in the game then assign an officer to their group. If the player (jupe/agatha) aren't worth the trouble then kick them, but assigning an officer to a kill group sounds much easier than finding a replacement for those 2 when it comes to their contributions.

You won't trust all 60 people needed for a big raid. If you are leading a guild on Red99, with all these misfits and losers, and your strategy requires you to trust everyone you are doing it wrong.

You also got a tormax head a day before DKP was implemented, you like the 5 or 6 other people "narrowly" missed a -40dkp hit then the DKP was put into place. You would be negative probably right now. go go dkp.

He went from a scrub geared 55 warrior, to already having what like 4 pieces of raid loot because the other warriors are being retards saving dkp passing over medium to major upgrades in all slots to wait and get 1 vulak item?

The guild had to pressure the warriors into looting the trident off koi, Luckily Biggy took it, hes the guilds second best option in the long run. All those other greedy fuck warriors(lol sithen so glad he didn't take that trident) trying to hold aggro then dkp cost on trident has to be cut in half because no warrior wants to take it when it will remain the bis aggro weapons with willsapper on server because SoD's no longer drop.

TLDR=A lot of stupid people in tempest, especially warriors passing over a low dkp trident not realizing its the best aggro weapon they are going to get.

ill rejoin the second the people that got me booted have more dkp than me(the real reason i was booted, i came back after 2 weeks gone from EQ, to see the majority of the monks, including the power players had used all there dkp. i would have picked up the next best monk look, the next 2-3 bis monk loots)

I need nothing from that shit, im 100% in the level.

I always suggested kill groups be made for easier looting, but with a dkp system you can't really pregroup someone to loot an item to avoid ninja looting by even non guildmates ie vindi bp. There was a couple of people who still thought I stole spells while we did VP, despite me linking them in guildchat(and being in a full group) and those spells always went directly to ferel or who he said to give them to for scribing. Tune can come and try to deny this, or acknowledge the fact its true if he wants, plenty of logs to back that up. Since the guild was full of new players, You could not ninja loot ANYTHING even if you tried, every diamond, blue diamond, kunark spell trash or not, piece of planar trash gear was needed by someone ALWAYS. About the only thing I ever made off with, was maybe 200pp in raw coin from looting corpses in planes etc. Which in turn just recycled to my ruby fund. which was used in turn to quest mallets to get the tanks set since there was no way I was funding 8 mallets a raid night out of my own pocket nor was it my job, just helping the guild!

Tala simply hasn't been on enough at all, with a 30% RA and all. Shit talk started immediately upon joining the guild, in teamspeak, in guildchat randomly whenever something happened. Most of it was curbed probably because the dps factor or to other people(they didn't seem to realize that when you talk shit raging about someone, it always makes its way back to the said person)

Anyway for a double post, I think my dps kept most peoples mouths shut that had an issue with me from past experiences. As time went on, they got more cocky talking shit about azrael, nihilum and friends days. When this or that happened, why I or someone else couldn't be trusted. Some str8 TABULA RASAAAAA right there.

Either way, tons of time to forum quest, pvp, farm, and have a RL not raiding HoT for DKP until 3am EST after starting shaman epic in CoM at 8PM. THANKS FOR THE GKICK, will let you know if I ever want back in, we may have to discuss my dkp package. Unless the guild crumbles before then once dkp is spent and the raid leaders are burned out.

Accurate yet in accurate. Sithen didn't want the trident because:
1) when using a mallet a warrior should use a shield to drastically increase his AC.
2) Come the Chardok revamp patch the warrior epic primary becomes off hand usable. And is greater agro than the trident.

been on the server since the start of beta bro's have not once gotten a legit rare item from any guild i have ever been in, but puts 16 hours a day in per day and while im playing im helping the guild grow.

not my fault officers only log in for raids and don't see the value i bring to the guild and they dont award loot accordingly, so damn right ima take what i deserve.

are you going to sit there and tell me this guy who logs in only for raids 3 times since the guild started deserves a manna robe over the guy who was just did 3 rogue epics for the guild (they kicked us right after they asked us to pull/heal/tank generals). we had 120 people and then after the raid it was just down to the core. the regulars.

what it goes down to is tune promised the manna robe to a noob who never showed up to get it, tune LOVES the attention he gets from giving newbies "good items" and feeds off the respect he gets in return. when i didnt cough up that mannarobe it made him look like an idiot to the lvl 47 wizard he was going to give to over my 60 wizard alt. the 47 wizard, quit several days later due to unrelated shit. thats what my ban from tempest was, it was a ego thing. tune couldnt pull thru wiith his promise to give some newbie that was sucking his ego off behind trakanons lair a mannarobe, and he flipped shit

gods work and friends had just merged, no officers where on for repop so i assumed control, we downed a few mobs but the important thing was the green scale that dropped, i looted it.

a week later vapo asks me for the scale, curious i ask why, he says it is for a returning player deluxee.... but... deluxee just RMT'd off liiterally days ago. and we are going to just give him an epic day 1 he's back? deluxee would go on to quit a month later. but not before i was kicked from the guild for giving a green scale away at the NFP bank for free.

seriously, i was in disbelief, and since nothing counted from previous guilds, u cannot just simply appear and use ur resume as a "i deserve this day 1 of me being back" but thats how it works.


yet, i played consecutively for 3 years 16-72 hour stretches, boxing the cleric, boxing the druid, getting people places, doing things to make the guild better. fuck man. And what do i get, all i get is dirty looks and people trying to pull scams on me by accusing me of being the one who scammed him (dirmit pretending to be his brother on his brothers account trying to win a 2nd lodi shield) saying he never gotten one yet even though as a show of good faith on the merger vaporize gave up 5 free lodi shields to friends members, including dirmit. dirmit would go on to accuse me and my brother of trying to scam him out of a shield he clearly knew he was scamming knowing the rep of the boca bros was all it was needed to get everyone on his side. luckily ragnaros spoke up, and said something. or else he woulda scammed a shield from jupe.

This is the type of shit i experienced while guilding here, while giving almost every waking moment to the game and majority of that time helping others. to have someone i thought of as a friend always ask me for a port only to find out he talked shit about me behind my back, even though i'd drop everything and port him.

farmed over 70 ragefires only to have the loot rules changed every time my pearl turned in so the guild leader could get the COF's for the "bank"

really the biggest hit was when vaporize took strydurs advice over mine in the whole gyno thing. that was a huge stab in the back. we'd all be in good guys right now and gyno would be the one crying about all his characters being banned.

i can go on and on, how about the time i "stripped" freez, ok so. Tarran 60 cleric < azrael > part of my crew at the time, i ended up leaving azrael, and lite strips tarran because "agatha is going to strip you since he left the guild, meanwhile im more friends with tarran than lite is friends with tarran. tarran asks for his gear back and lite wouldnt give it to him. So i did what ever good friend would do, i fucking stole shit off of an account that lite had given me access to and held it ransom for my friend tarrans stuff back. to this day people say not everything was returned, but thats bullshit, derubael did the exchange, it wouldn't have gone down if everything wasnt there on both sides as we each had to give our items to derubael and once he confirmed everything was there he gave it back.

the whole time tune was crying in TS we where linking the mannarobe in grp chat and to other friends having a good laugh. if any of them cared they'd come here and confirm it, but they arn't going to do that, because they are still guilded with tune.

think for a second, ninja loot a 10k mana robe. for what? tune went from 0 to 60 about a fucking shit item and we decided to play with them, for that we got the concquences.

Tune could have agreed on a public story of what happened to save face with his core, but instead he chose to let everyone know that he got taken for a ride and got trolled by pursuing it so seriously...all for some big "GOTCHA" that his buddies and core wanted more than him. Jupe being thrown away like trash, and to a lesser extent Agatha, over something like this was pretty disgusting and turned off more than a few silent people. Both sides took things too far period.

On the upside Jupe was liberated from a questionable situation under the yoke of the Tabula Rasa Scam. He wasn't being given fair treatment before <Tempest>, and the same crew carried over the same bullshit over a few spells missing from pre-Tempest raids.

The only people to every treat me right was the jersey crew founding fathers during classic, the only people that treated my brother right was empire.

you don't treat people who play for literal days at a time and carry your guild that you should be leading only for the leader to log on for 3 hours and take the guild over and decide loots. Thats basically how i felt being in some of the guilds. I'd lead the guild all day do epics start exp grps, PL. then the "leaders" would log in, do dragons and call the loot. meanwhile i had put in 30x more work between raids than the leaders did.

and i still get treated like trash. Also i'd like to mention. i NEVER brought any of this up when i was still playing EQ. I'm just hoping other players see this that have no life and alot of play time and be very careful who u lend your time to. 90% of my time on r99 was spent helping other people. for that i am hated by all. who knows how that happens.

Haven't read through the whole thread but people still spending massive amounts of time on this box - do yourself a favor, plenty of good games out now. Overwatch, VR is pretty cool, Legion, etc. Took me awhile but 9 months clean of EQ, feels good.
