Growing up I collected a great deal of Archie digest comics (because my attention span said "fuck you, regular books").
Now that I'm an adult, reading them while pooping has become a nostalgic pastime of mine.
Sometimes when you read just one cell of a comic and ignore any context before/after, you can find a few gems. Here are two I found this week, but that giant pile of comics has new life as I dive into the world of "out of context":

While I don't normally think of this kind of stuff regularly, these comics really do highlight the socially acceptable ways of thinking "back then" which are quite different to how the world works today.
I will update this thread as I find more pictures, or maybe I won't because I'll forget.
