OPEN Hate Raid - Monday 13 June - 10am eastern US Time

On Monday, 13 June, Omni will be hosting an open Hate raid/clear at 10am US eastern time.

We invite everyone who would like to attend to come along.

The purpose of this raid is to provide an opportunity for those who don't belong to raiding guilds (or guilds who raid little) to experience the content and maybe get some loot (and maybe even epic parts).

If you belong to an experienced raiding guild, you're welcome to come along, too, in support of the raid - but please bring your main and leave the loot for those who don't otherwise get to the planes much (if at all).

Omni will cover the cost of the port stones.

Requirements:
Your 'toon must be at least L46 with a bubble or so of experience.
You also must be able to follow instructions.

Loot distribution:
You may /random on any loot that you can use and is an upgrade for you.
Be mindful of others. If you've won an item already, don't roll on further items until everyone of your class has won something.

Preparation:
Be at the WC spires at 9:40 or so eastern US time. We will be starting promptly at 10:00am. Providing transportation for latecomers can be difficult, so be prompt.
No special gear is required for this raid.

We plan to.

We'll secure the zone-in first. Then we'll move around a little on the main floor (probably Maestro Room). Then we'll head upstairs and pull to Inny's old room.

It really depends on how many we have, how well people work together, and how well people follow instructions.

If people pay attention, we should be able to clear the entire zone fairly quickly. If they don't, it could become kinda frustrating.

I wanted to say thanks to Omni for hosting this and also thanks to one of their members, Versager. Had some major connection issues causing about a literal 4 minute lag on everything including tells, some of which never went though. Versager was patient and was finally able to TL me out when I had a brief bought of good connection. Thank you!

Great success...apart from the end. A little overpull mixed with a little aggro thru the wall....

25+ items spread across 9 guilds (and a bunch of unguilded). Several epic items to people. Many people from bigger guilds on mains in support. 78 people there.

People played well and followed instructions.

Look for another open raid in the near future. It was a blast! (Fear in JULY!!)

Thanks for hosting Omni - It was certainly a fun experience and made it back to WC in one piece, but yes it was definitely scary at the end could tell the wipeout was coming. Number of mobs moving about during certain sections had its moment, but glad I was there.

To me Open raids are part of classic, though too bad it was bust on big targets. Hoping to see this continue as I am just coming into my own towards raiding.

No I can confirm there were at least 3 bards there -- each won a piece of Imbrued Armor.

There was a breastplate, wrist, and leg drop. Though I do recall there being a mage epic part drop -- Staff cant confirm the element as it didn't matter all that much to be but quite aware of some of the mage epic part names in general.

A number of enchanters picked up an epic part.

A couple of lucky shaman and warriors got some armor drops - I mean I could pull up log and sort out all the drops.

Did log check and it was a Staff of Elemental Mastery: Fire that dropped.

At the end of the Hate raid it was commented that in July here Omni would be granting your wish -- Plane of Fear -- no exact date was mentioned though.
