Got my XPS 13 last year around this time and love it. I mostly have it connected to a large monitor, but don't mind the screen if I am on the couch or more mobile.

Get the xps 15 if you want a portable and decent laptop for gaming. I have the 13 and it runs low end games fine, but everyday use is annoying with the small screen + high res. Go for a bigger screen.

xps 13 looks really good. want one p bad but will prob go for a asus zenbook.

dell warranty and service is top shelf

Not sure how most ppl game on a laptop without it being super nice one. And setup on a desk with a mouse possibly even a external key board
