So whatcha using for a desktop wallpaper?
Let the flames begin :D

I've been using this on my desktop computer for a couple months

Gives good illumination when all the lights are off. It's London Bridge. The artist has a bunch of good images, some samples here http://imgur.com/gallery/kp4ml and his main site (image DL protection) is here http://www.laforetvisuals.com/

Then on my lappy, I've had this one up for years.

Longest I've had a single wallpaper on any system. No idea where it came from.

And lastly (sorry not showing boobs on bikes) I was running this on my desktop earlier this year. Ranger

First thing I do when I install a computer for my personal use, I remove all desktop background images and set it to be just plain black color.

I don't get the need to stare to an image for hours every day. It can only distract me from whatever I'm supposed to do on the computer.

Yeah I heard an interview by the photographer, he did that in a helicopter and used very little post-processing. It reminds me of when I was a kid, on that peter pan ride at disneyland. You'd look down over the big model city as you fly over. PotC was the best ride by far, but this looked really cool, and that image looks about unreal as a model city. I like his Las Vegas shot too.

Helps with anxieties I'd guess is a reason. Even if its not acknowledged or realized... Any positive stimulus you can get from something is a good thing.

Nothing breeds anxiety more than nothingness, especially in the digital age where we (the brain) expect constant stimulation.

Reminds me of the ET ride at Universal Studios.

Used to have a "pillars of creation" image, but reformatted awhile back and now just roll with the generic rolling plains windows image called "bliss". i'm such a lazy clusterfuq bastard though my whole desktop is filled with shortcut links , anyway.
