game sucks. Glad Daybreak is destroying anything Everquest related. It deserves to burn. P99 is the only living proof of a decent game

Daybreak shut down EQN like it never existed after who knows how many millions were blown on it.
They can shut down EQ1 overnight if they decide to focus on other venues.

Yet they shut down Vanguard which was an even bigger investment.
What SOE should have done upon purchasing VG and the subsequent launch failure, is plug Vanguard for the re-release (they did do a re-release, except it wasn't anything hype because the game was already fully available the entire fucking time).
People tried to tell them they were better off plugging it until the re-release was ready with the fixes/content, and they were so short-sighted and greedy they felt maintaining 90k dwindling subs was somehow worth not hyping a re-release.
Dogshit company.

Planetside 1 still upI don't know about EQ:LoN, never played it, but I spent years playing PS as a subscriber. Was a seriously fun game years back before they started screwing it up. You've played PSide recently? It's so buggy and full of hacks it's really not playable on any serious level at all. The game is way frustrating now, like with people sniping you through multiple walls and stuff. They abandoned it a long time ago, it's just a mess, and they are putting it out of it's misery July 1st.
Ahh I miss my Eagle :( I use to set it up as a mobile AA and the ground saturated with engineer deployments, was very effective for base defense. Generally the weakest BFR (battle field robotics (a mechwarrior)), but if applied right it was very effective.

Never played LoN, but did get some cool horses from opening all the card packs
