Hello P99! I've had the itch by play EQ again (emu not live, ugh) for a few months, but was really intimidated by the install process, found out it was super easy, I even got my favorite UI loaded & ready in a matter of minutes (vert 4 lyfe). While I'm new here, I'm a veteran EQ live player (played from Velious release to a week before Underfoot launched) & I played SoD for a few years where I met my husband. Looked around a bit, people seem to be more like they were when I played live, so excited to see what the community is like & dive back into some of my favorite places.

If anybody could use/take pity on a naked halfling cleric, hit me up as Magnoliae!

I was going to invent some grand tale about leveling a druid of every possible race, but my coffee hasn't really taken effect yet and words are still kinda hard.

Not a very exciting story: my bro leveled it and quit because his wife had their third child. Now it's mine. ;)

This thread was started Monday, so I have a tiny update, while I still plan on leveling Magnoliae, being brand new, I decided to pick a class that I could solo with, or had didn't have to have as much plat to play it. So I made a little bard, after reading the feelings on swarm kiting & talking to another person in game, I forced my somewhat shy, introvert self to group at Orc Hill for about an hour. I really enjoyed myself! I'm quite the perfectionist & coming back to this game is overwhelming in a great way, so I'm glad I picked up the bard for a bit, to get the hang of stuff without being such a vital party role.

I can be found as Seja for the foreseeable future, unless something drastic changes, but I will be back as the cleric, healing is my #1 favorite thing & passion.

just never use nukes and root mobs if your tank is a warrior and you're fine.

enchanter nukes are really just a novelty. you'll contribute way more dps with a charmed pet.

I normally don't like them either, I had a gnome cleric on SoD, but people seemed to branch out from the normal high elf cleric role there more. She's only level 5, with no gear, so a re-roll might be in the future, who knows. I was a DE cleric on live for many, many, years, I liked her a lot.
