Bonus XP for July 4th weekend?

I didn't see anything posted in the announcement sub-forum but the last bonus XP event post it said it was desired to start doing more XP events like that. I would say July 4th is a bigger holiday so has anyone seen/heard if we will be getting it this weekend?

I for one would love to see bonus XP. I was figuring a number of games might just kick off such things. I am postponing other normal weekend activates as I am expecting the number of attendees to also slump there due to the holiday.

Either way looking to getting back to working on some characters over the weekend.

Good post. I also veto the xp bonus, because while will be doing neither of the above and for neither of those reasons, I will not be in Norath :/ If I am unable to take advantage of the bonus there should be none.

xp weekend means more disputes, which means more petitions, which means more attention from staff.

Unless Llandris and Braknar want to get all METH'ed out and go for 4 days straight, xp weekend not a good idea for nerds that wont be going outside.

Wasn't the whole "bonus xp over holiday" thing the idea from the staff? Why you getting all bent out of shape about something they suggested in the first place and acting like people are making unreasonable requests? I'm sure if it was that big of an issue they wouldn't have done it for memorial weekend or said they wanted to do it on future holidays.

Leveling in EQ is easy compared to what exactly? I doubt the statement "leveling is easy" resonates with the large majority of EQ players but good on you that you find it so easy! Maybe they can apply an XP bonus to everyone but you since you don't need it.
