Hello,

What do I have to do to get a rotted corpse back?

I've made the post on the petition forum several days ago and the only views were mine and I've been petitioning in game for about a week now and nothing has happened. Is there some avenue of communication I'm overlooking, or I just don't get something? Thanks in advance!

You're going to hear patience from everyone most likely.
Considering the fact that your corpse rotting is no ones fault but your own I don't think it will be taken as a high priority to our volunteer gms. Don't bump it because they work on the oldest ones first.

There is no set time on when petitions get done. There is only like 4 people that go through them and they all have full time jobs outside of volunteering for this. I would just petition in game and leave your game on that way they can help you. Even if you're afk they will probably just put your corpse in front of you.

They will summon it to WFP gates. He doesnt even need to be online to have it happen. Just petition ingame and wait. Yeah it could take a week. Want better support move to live servers where there are paid GM's that do it as their job.

See, thats what doesn't make sense- Are they going to pull my body to me, or to the EC corpse pile? I've been waiting near it generally but Im also doing stuff cause my bard doesn't need gear to move like the wind so my body could have potentially been sent to me and I may have not noticed it?

As far as i know, or have seen, rotted corpses are always summoned in EC at the freeport zoneline

I forgot to CR my wiz alt and my corpse rotted. Petitioned in game. Next time I zoned out (of Blackburrow) I was standing on my corpse in EC. Less than 30 min downtime. Maybe I was lucky.

If you push too much, they will just let you wait another week.

People get testy when you imply they arent doing their volunteer job.

If thats the attitude, I'm glad red is dead....no point in my trying to get back to a server thats a ghost town as it is

You sound pretty entitled. If I was a GM I might accidently overlook your petition for a week or two more. You're the one who let it rot in the first place, its not like a bug got you or something.

you all sound like sad, jaded people. Not getting word back for a week and trying to find out what is up is pretty reasonable.

I petitioned a few months ago on my druid for a corpse that rotted.. knew they just dump it in ec so I petitioned and immediately /camp...

The guide sent me a tell and asked if I was ready to summon before I finished camping..

I can't help but laugh here by the end of this... but I have a couple questions left . Did you get it? Was it in EC like stated and were you summoned to be right on top of it?

I only ask because that had been my experience in past. And my final question - Aren't you glad you play on P99 where GM's are nice and willing to help you out? As I recall back on live you were SoL in this type of experience, hence why Ele had provided a suggestion.

I'd also like to point out.. hmm a 2 day turn around not bad - I have been in games where I've had a petition in for near 6 months before someone came back and stated hey is this still a problem. My response oh glad someone finally responded it's only been 6 months and yes I still need this addressed. BTW, no it was a fully running game with real paid staff, not some emulator or side project of someone's.

i mean you are playing on a server that is emulating a game came out in 1999. Might aswell be the stone age of online games.
