The guy is a veteran of p99 Blue & Red. He has a guide on the wiki ffs. How can you treat a good member this way? Talk to him don't ban him! I can find you a ton of posts where he has helped people. He has even gotten people interested in playing on P99. First hand I can say through his twitch streams I've seen him introduce p99 to people.

I don't care what any of the RnF'ers (http://i.imgur.com/chDEKc6.gif) say!, or the RMT pieces of shit who play the political games that come along with a private server. I know swish is not a shit poster. The only crime he could be guilt of was having to be around some truly unkind people who jade his image.

Swish is the reason I Considered Red.

Swish will be back ^^ Sounds like his ban was for a minor violation, but a violatin nonetheless. Mods offer a lot of leeway in language use and discussion and I think that creates some confusion on what is permissible even for those who've been around a while and witnessed many bans ^^

Swish also has more enemies than most, so it is more likely that someone is going to report a misstep by him than by someone else. In the past week I've seen three people make the same transgression, but they are not banned. I can only assume it is because they've not been reported or mods let them off with a warning, giving them the benefit of the doubt and assuming ignorance.

I was on color switch and some Wish.me app showed up and I instantly thought of him and how he hacked my phone so I wanted to post it and thats when I found out he was banned ( not cool btw ) He is an outright tool and tosser but he is our TT. Nah, it's like Freakisj said. It is standard OP to hide the last week or so of posts alongside a ban in case more questionable material was posted. Mods then have to read through each post before restoring them.

We can start by defaulting all accounts to ignore all other accounts then use our profile descriptors (location, interests, etc.) to advertise our narrow preferences and selectively unignore those with whom we share a common mind. I hate to be this guy but I think we're facing a developing issue that has stagnated it way since the daybreak thing. Some things slip through the cracks while others are instantly pounced upon. The louder you are the faster it happens.

I know swish was an active poster so just by that he was 'loud'. He could have fallen through the cracks like so many others. People are going to like you or dislike you when you're active in a community. I do not believe though that his popularity in any form weighed in on his banning.

I believe it was just another sporadic judgement call. Even kings can be wrong.
This is why I am standing up and asking nicely that he be unbanned. Sooner then later. Doesn't matter if it was a temp ban. I believe in talking before striking someone down.
Also I want to make it clear that I do not speak for swish. I only think of him as a friend and think he deserves better then what happened.

What world do you live in? Life isn't cut in black and white, and to expect humanity to follow all rules that humans themselves have created to the letter is unrealistic.

When a person treads the line of what's deemed correct and not correct often, eventually it catches up to them. It only increases the chances that you will be dealt with by whatever governing force it is you are playing with.

Everyone here does things they shouldn't do, it's just a matter of differences with how people deal with it when they are caught and "punished".

This just comes off as a whiny, woe-is-me-thread. The majority of people are not going to sympathize with this, unless they personally like the person who is whining about their present predicament.

Just accept it, time will go by and all the hurt feelings and sadness will be over in due time. Until then, accept that Swish was a bad boy, and he has been punished accordingly.

Swish got me seriously interested in red. He helped me understand the lay of the land on there. In turn I had a fantastic experience. I PVP'd in Everquest and it wasn't bad. Please don't miss understand this. I'm not trying to push red on anyone. I'm just saying that if swish wasn't a member of this community I wouldn't have touched red. Red is a big part of this community despite how some of you view it's population.
There is one true fact about why I believe swish is a good community member. Stated in full.

On Blue, it gave me a exceptional sense that the community of the forums was a real living part of the community in game. AND IT IS!
Swish on blue is pretty fucking cool in my opinion. It's a memory I enjoy and one that I think other people can relate to.
After that I never felt like forums and in game were totally separate. To this day I've been proven right that they go hand in hand.

BDA went to Phinny and seems most the Swish haters were them. I never had an issue with BDA and questioned the fervor of Swish's crusade against them, but I think he was just looking to defend the interests of smaller guilds. Whether you are with him in that crusade or not, he's always been helpful to new and existing players, giving advice on gameplay and tech, etc.

A lot of people won't get this but sometimes people need a break and they feel attached to a community. It's hard to just step away. They need a reason. If you can't accept that answer that's fine but some people need that extra layer. Doesn't mean It's a bad thing. Just a part of what makes us human.

I understand there are some (perhaps) people who were rubbed wrong by the try red campaign, but I don't think it wasn't some malicious thing. He found something special there and wanted to share it. I know this, because so did I thanks to him! With the negative image red had from a "colorful" community and questionable implementation.

Most people didnt care to give it a go. They had opinions they didn't care to question and just wanted to be left alone. I heartily sympathize with the latter! I understand there are some (perhaps) people who were rubbed wrong by the try red campaign, but I don't think it wasn't some malicious thing. He found something special there and wanted to share it. I know this, because so did I thanks to him! With the negative image red had from a "colorful" community and questionable implementation.

Most people didnt care to give it a go. They had opinions they didn't care to question and just wanted to be left alone. I heartily sympathize with the latter! I tend to just skim past stuff I don't want to read, but am generally not significantly bothered by much so have it easy I guess in that regard ^^ and I ended up giving it a go and had fun. New guilds and competition were forming up. Swish would make characters to help people level. He would port them and give them starter gear or money. I don't recall him ever asking anyone for anything in return(although I felt obligated to return what I could). I even witnessed someone that Swish had helped out quite a bit turn around and screw Swish over. Swish shrugged it off and handled it with dignity. If BDA caught his wrath they deserved it.

He might have been fine in game on the Forums he started going all batshit crazy once he moved to red. You can easily see it. Sorry the truth hurts.
