I never had a warrior in classic. Can someone confirm that I can only do max 2 damage? I'm a level 16 warrior with 31 h2h and only ever hit for 1 or 2 damage.

Yes this is max, h2h is worthless as a warrior unless you have the 10/25 war/monk h2h from sky.

you could multiclass monk so your h2h wouldn't be so bad, or throw in 1 level of rog to get the extra d6 per attack. Just a couple ideas

That weapon is 1HB, or should be rather. The hand to hand skill on weapons wasn't added until Luclin with Beastlords.

My Bard max hits for 9 in H2H... I occasionally can even land 9 damage punches on planar trash.

Are you sure this is still true? My 50 rogue used to punch for 10's, but recently I'm seeing that the most I can hit for is 2. It seems the formulas were changed.

I'm not sure if it is like this in classic, but I know on live H2H for warriors and stuff is based off of your attack rating. Higher attack rating means more dmg you do while H2H and only real way to get the attack rating up is by getting higher skill in H2H.

On live I had my warrior's H2H skill maxxed for the fun of it and could hit in 100s iirc (this was not during classic era though)
