i cannot confirm with 100% certainty, but im almost positive that mob was added after the revamp of the Hole, so it shouldnt happen on this server. i cant find a confirmation, but i saw some places where people in 2003 were talking about going into the new hole to fight this mob. i think the picture and the page was just copied over from allakhazam and left in as on oversite

it certainly isnt on the server in that form because i dont believe there are any items with recommended levels.

I've combed this version of the hole thru and thru and have never seen this mob.

I've probably leveled in the hole more than most anyone on p99, I also lived in there on live during velious era. This item does not drop there, it was post revamp (revamp was horrible in my opinion).

Hole wiki is not accurate, I tried to edit it and got frustrated with trying to figure out how to edit the mob tables. One day I'll get motivated enough to revamp it.

And please leave the Hole as is (no revamp). It is near perfect. The one thing that I believe turns people off from parking in there and shouting '55 Shaman LFG' is the entrance design. There is water that you can drown in, the only land is like super close to the first mobs (so you can easily get trained on a bad pull), and your key is not soulbound (sucks for races that are larger and can't swim through the gap).

Those are the only thing I would want changed, but I doubt the zone layout itself can be altered. I would be happy with just a soulbound key.

Your telling me you wouldn't want to see new mobs and new quests and new loot show up in the hole. I love going down there but there really isn't much to get besides the caster gear and some fashion quest pieces ( epic stuff aside)

Finishing some quests with items from the loot table would be ok, but would want to leave the mobs and zone as is for the most part. For me it is a defining zone of that classic everquest feel.

I did find a rare spawn on live in golem tower once that was a named steel golem, but guild wiped due to horrible pathing. Was pre revamp too, shame I never had a screenshot of it. If I could somehow track that down, would be sweet to add in.

There are a number of articles relating to the Hole which contain info on content that is out-of-era from P99. I've been going through and flagging them {{luclin era}} and {{delete}} but unfortunately very few people have access to delete articles from the Wiki.

The item ID gives good indication on what era the item is from. Up to around PoP, the maximum item id was around 32000, which means this Bracer wasn't in the game until after PoP release
