This happened to a, ahem, "friend" of mine. My favorite part is the third comment.

Hello, I believe I was deliberately conned by a girl yesterday morning. She claimed to be an adult model working for Adult Friend Finder (AFF) who wanted to meet up. She sent me some sexy pictures and I was stupid enough to be fooled. We chatted and added each other on facebook and had a four-hour conversation on FB messenger. She said that I had to sign up to some sites in order to meet as part of her job. Apparently this was for her safety to confirm where she was and who she was with before we could get down to it. She told me that if I just registered and didn't watch or press anything then she could arrange our meeting through the sites, then refund all my money once the process was finished. I went to multiple different porn and personal sign up pages and registered (or tried to) on all of them. We were chatting constantly throughout all the signups but didn't watch or do anything like she said. Ran out of cash before we could complete the process, so stupidly I gave her my gmail password so she could fix it all for me while i was asleep. What she actually did was delete my browsing history. Now I can't get hold of her and my bank account is empty. Feel like an idiot, but was drunk and lonely this morning. Haven't spoken to my bank or the police yet but will if I cannot resolve this. She has changed my AFF password and changed the email to jessica...@yahoo.com so I still cannot log into the site. Her username was "naughtysteph" with a number. She viewed my profile and first emailed me through AFF about 8am. I added her on facebook about an hour later and still have the whole message history. I was asleep between about 1230 and 1800 so any account access between those times was her. Have emailed AFF and as many of the sites as I could and explained the situation, but not all have got back to me. She came online today at about 5am. Said hello on FB messenger, then obviously read my last few messages and instantly deleted FB account.

Not sure if I'll get all of my money back. Should I report her to FB? To my bank? The police? What else should I do?

Please take pity on a broke, hopeless fool and help me!

Thanks

P.S.
I always wonder how people fall for these kinds of scam, but drunk men are notorious for having no kind of mental defence against a sexy, naked young woman promising all kinds of exciting things! As the saying goes: When the **** is hard, the mind is soft..."

If you catch up with the model apart from trying to get your money back sue for breach of promise."

Tough crowd! I thought it was pretty funny /shrug. Apparently this is old hat to you seasoned internet warriors. Strike a nerve because the same thing happened to you?

With all the scams/trolling that happens on p99 I thought someone else's twisted mind might enjoy the gullibility and sheer naivety of this dude.

It's kinda like watching ppl fall down; it is always funny but you feel pity for them at the same time.

It is more relevant to the off topic forums. But it was also from 2012. Not really sure how you arrived at the idea to post this particular story.

Girls lead to sex
Sex leads to children
Children lead to watching toddler cartoons
Toddler cartoons lead to gimmick posting on bad internet forums.
