Lets talk out of the ordinary raiding strats

Whether you tested them confirmed them I'd love to here your ideas or what has worked for you. When I say out of the ordinary. I want to see some bazaar things. Burst buff damage. Stun lock heal recap admissions between intervals of mobs hp/and or special attack/spell. Kiting various/ charm/swarm/aoe/snare/killzone/stun legal exploit. Heal chains , CH, Greater heal time variances? Flash of light , fear, snare knockback etc. Or weapon procs/stuns/DD's, dex mods and or armor mods. You name it I want to here it if not compare with you. Logs are good too if you have them. Keep this topic strictly strats whether implemented or not. Be nice if we can get some hardcore out of the box thinkers/testers rising up to the challenge.

I don't remember there being anywhere near 30 mobs at chess board, and I don't remember anyone soloing the Zek's during PoP, almost positive that did not happen until at least after GoD, most likely around OoW. Pretty sure it was happening at 70 or 75, but def not 65.

Links to anything you said being even remotely viable?

Edit: It was at 70 during OoW when necros in full anguish gear started first soloing them btw.. I remember having to max all of my defensive AA's to do it as well.

It's fucking EQ, there's nothing that hasn't been done before. The "out of the ordinary" raid strats were the ones that were usually adopted as scripture... using charmed giants vs. AoW (nerfed), Ranger weaponshield, etc.

No one soloed TZ or VZ in PoP. If someone soloed TZ within like 5 years of PoP being released I will mail them $500. VZ was like one-groupable in PoP though if you were good.

There are plenty of things in Everquest that wasn't tested. If they wer tested , the data wasn't released on a public note. The data collected could be used for out of the ordinary strats if it benefited the player in some way, however this is Project 1999. Therefore some things are different. If you honestly believe mobs hit for the same , have the same hp everything to be identical to Everquest your wrong. Therefore regardless if your non factual statement was even true. This leads more room for testing with the project 1999 server and for other strats to come into play. When you think of strategy maybe your just thinking of the player playing the characer. When I think about strategy I'm thinking all across the board. Not just the skill of the player. I'm not going to debate with you about testing data for strats. It would be to long of a discussion that quite frankly I wouldn't believe you would be interested in , unless it benefited you and or your guildmates trolling ways.

Your wrong. I never bragged about my twink. You assume by me posting screenshots of myself with my inventory Im bragging? Where did I ever mention my gear other then post that flamed me for having crap gear? You assume so much , but have little to show for. I never said the opinions of anything related to a topic was crap let alone disagreed with. What I did say and show, there are plenty of jerks that just troll and are rude for the hell of it. As far as charity grab , I'm not trying to steal anyones strats. I'm trying to find like minded people that would love to implement some of them with me. Or so we can conversate on what has worked for us personally. Maybe make a friend or two. Which I seem to have made a decent few. I'm not looking for a flame war , or to piss people off. I'm looking for like minded individuals that want to conversate on the topic I posted. It seems every topic I post gets turned into a flame war. God forbid when I defend myself more hate comes about. It would be nice if these forums were full of decent people. It's however the opposite. I wanted to quit these forums , until I stumbled on some individuals having followed some of my posts. Mind you they are good people and i'm glad I have met them.

Whats amazing is most guilds you or anyone have a issue with, you go to their officers/leaders to take care of the problem... What if you have issues with the guild leaders themselves being assholes??? The funny thing is these guys have such big ego's yet the guild they are in has just begun to raid. I hear so much trash talk on IB and Da from people , yet at least they show me some respect. This guild is hardly raiding at all, and they are already assholes??? This says a lot about the guild and leadership. I don't have constant tells telling me to **** myself and die for no apparent reason from IB/ DA. Whether or not DA and IB are jerks on the raid scene is one thing . I At least they are decent people I can have a conversation with outside that. These two clowns who you defend are totally opposite of that. If they are trying to attract jerks and egotistical assholes that like to flame/post and send mean tells or in global ooc then thats fine. Just don't expect me to be nice anymore. I won't stoop as low as going into your guild section and posting garbage. Or even telling your members in game to *** themselves. If anyone asks me about Pantheon I tell them to read the post the guild leaders make on the forums. Enough said.
