So I read / heard somewhere that trying to disarm a mob that does not have a weapon generates a small percentage of threat. Any idea if this is true? I feel that disarm would only generate threat if successful on a mob that is carrying a weapon. Not sure if I should be spamming kick + disarm or if it makes no difference regardless.

well, a successful disarm aggros a mob right? iirc if you don't succeed nothing happens. idk never tried spam disarming an npc without a weapon.

disarming people on raids causes aggro and threat but they don't always know where to direct it.

well, disarm for sure generate some agro even on mob without weapon, try to disarm a mob and they will attack. now I've no idea if it's 1 point of threat or any meaningfull value of threat..

Disarm is a hard skill to train. I've gained maybe 10 before I dinged Is it worth putting extra points in at the trainer?

By using it each time I use kick (Separate timers also) I have gone from 1-62 in a few days. I would save your training points for more readily available skills like bind wound (although it can get expensive) but I find that after 40 or so, you will most likely find yourself in an xp group as a warrior and with at least some type of healer.

Drink 5 brandies anytime you lose aggro and you'll be fine.
