am I correct that with tegra and if linux ... things such as motion and vr are pretty damned accessible if only at first to a skilled "GameBreaker"... Why are mobile systems the only acceptable console purchase? I mean as a self respecting grown man i wouldnt be seen dead walking the streets playing a handheld game. I dont even play games on my phone when i'm out in public unless i'm going to be sitting in a waiting room for more then 20 mins. Whole worlds going to have ADD and need a video screen strapped to their face 24/7 soon i guess. Home consoles are shit because a PC can do everything they do better, more reliably, and far cheaper. Handheld systems are the only ones that add functionality over the computer you already own (portability and access to console exclusives that are actually worth playing). Mario games arguably still make Nintendo consoles worthy tho (Mario Galaxy was literally the only great home console game of that gen), so like I said not fully on the hatemobile for the Switch or Trans or whatever it's called. But the Wii U gen has inarguably shown some serious cracks in Nintendo's credibility.

There are certain titles I prefer on a console versus PC.

In FPS games, especially those that have really impressive graphics, your framerate has a marked effect on your performance. It kind of feels like crep when you're getting headshotted by every 13 year old on the server at 8 fps.

I also don't think you can make the "Far Cheaper" argument when we're talking about that tier of game, performance wise. You're looking at around $600-800 for a PC that can get the same performance you can get at 1080 with a $350ish PS4 with more variance in performance between titles on PC for sure.

You've also got some titles that don't make it to PC until 6-8 months later.

PSVR gonna be mad cheaper than oculus too, but I don't know how I feel about VR on a whole just yet.

Real non-plebs don't argue PC master race versus console, we just buy both cause they both have benefits and we're not poors, u no?

Embarrassing post. Destiny is awful, GTA is awful, both get holocaust framerates and would be better played with a mouse. CoD you literally have to be lobotomized to even contemplate playing with analog sticks, and I've seen the new PS4 version where you're in the future and its 8 frames per second. Naw.

Its not revolutionary but i can see it being a console winner.
Timing is good. It works as a handheld you can pop out with you beyond the toilet. Has nvidia tech and will be very compatible to program for. The design is neat, looks nice in toaster mode. Two player mode on the go. It might work as a touchpad. Will be handy with cam peripherals etc.

Most likely it will: be a huge success in Japan, amongst kids and young gamers buying their first console. Gamers who own pc and or ps4/xbox will want a new toy and it completes well with those inventions. If it works as a touchpad the price will rival the existing ones and can take its market.

The best solution to gaming is a pc, and a sega genesis and snes using rgb on crt. Got gaming covered

Well for 1 FIFA is complete garbage on PC and filled with Cheaters i play that on XB1. I use to play Halo too as another exclusive. Overwatch is a joke on PC also. Those 3 were enough reasons to get a console. Have PS4 cause my few friends that still play games play on that.

Also i will take a controller over mouse and keyboard anyday cause thats what i'm use to for past 20 years for a lot of games. Also i'm not a professional so i could care less about being the best so i dont care about using mouse/keyboard. You should have heard the whiny bitches in counterstrike when i played ranked my first game ever haha.

Nintendo must try harder and show Gameplay/content is better than realistic graphics from (xbox/ps4). If they try hard enough and release more games with better gameplay/content, people will buy Nintendo including myself over an xbox/ps4.
Content is the cons of realistic graphics of xbox and ps4 and Nintendo should use that to their advantage.
Imagine a remake of ff7 for example not in realistic graphics like the upcoming ps4 but in awesome animated graphics that Nintendo use. Smoother gameplay and cheaper resulting in more content that does not take 20 years to make.

Havent had a drink in 3 years and i've probably drank 12 beers in my life. I like my liver too much and all beer tastes like ass.(same goes for coffee). i also drive a 92 civic with 225k miles on it because i dont really care what my care looks like and it gets me from point a to point b. Same with a video game. I play it to have fun and enjoy myself. That doesnt mean i have to win every game or be the best to enjoy myself.
