So does that mean that 237 people got a Tier5 reward? Total Completed (748) minus T4 (97), T3 (129), T2 (68), T1 (157), T0 (60)? That number seems super high or did that much of the nicest tier of item actually go out?

Also the event was active for 12hours 28minutes which is 748 total minutes, the same number as total people who completed the event. Coincidence or error in parse/numbers?

Also 7+4+8=19 which is similar to 1999 which is Project1999. Coincidence or Braknar conspiracy?!

I love stats like this. Its nice to see how many people are participating. 748 is strong for a one time holiday night event imo

Total completed does not include T0.

Thanks Brak-dawg.

I accounted for one of the DoT deaths on Blue -- the guy in LoiO Baned me 2x time, first time LoH and all my heals sved me, but the 2nd time... I died. ( was mid 30's on a Paladin ).

Thanks for the event Braknar, was pretty cool. Wish I could have been on blue instead of red for it to really enjoy the quest.

Going to ask again - are these 12 people just F'd this year for rewards as a result? It was even announced that there was a known issue with this, and you guys knew ahead that there was an issue.

Really, I would just like an answer one way or another. The event is appreciated, but this part just put a huge damper at the end for some.

They should all have gotten an item by hand after the event. Those who did not are encouraged to post in the petetions forum.

Luckily I was not the only idiot :P

At the person above me, I got an item the next evening from Sirken after being asked to roll 1-15. My roll yielded me a Rubicite Breastplate, which is now decorating my baby bard. However, Braknar said that this error was something that 'came' up during the event, that's why they even made a server wide announcement regarding it (saying that he knew it before hand is a bit silly).

ran around for hours and got jack shit due to no one wanting to stop and port

had 2 porters in beginning they said fuck it and logged at 10 boo's

worst idea for an event ever, why couldnt you just spawn rare mobs in stupid zones so people could actually get something

Join a guild. A good one that supports the players and has infrastructure.

Thanks for the answer but to be a bit more clear in what I'm asking - Those who completed all 16 but received the reward for 'formally complete' before the tier 5 loot was reduced, are they going to be switched to the normal loot that was distributed for completing all 16?

I had no option to roll, at all. And I didn't mean they knew about it before the event, but (it's my understanding so I could be incorrect here) that they knew about it long before the announcement. And it would not be silly to hold off on the announcement while they gather data on those turning in to see if there is something they could improve on for next time in regards to a turn-in.

I can not load items, and I was under the impression that the proper loot table was used depending on the time. We have time stamps of the turn ins, etc. As I've said before if you think it's wrong, make a forum petition as nearly anything with items needs to go through the forums for a paper trail.

If you were online, you got to roll. If you were not, a roll was made for you. I have no idea where you got the notion the issue was known beforehand. I've said a number of times, it was noticed moments before the message, and soon as I pulled up the code I saw how it happened. There was no holding off on the announcement. The bug was clear, and simply an oops. Due to the nature of the code, we couldn't really fix it live, so the message was broadcast and seemed to mitigate things.

Ok then I was misinformed and my RNG is just shitty. I was told you guys were informed of this a while beforehand while visiting a stream. It was probably wrong.

One more thing - Was can o' whoop ass on the loot table for all 16 before the reduction?

And thanks for the reply though, regardless of whether I like it or not I do appreciate it.

The can was indeed on tier5, and it's an instant 4k rune amoung other things.

I will agree that the can is an amazing buff. However, I am going to guess that people that got one might feel a bit jaded as it's an expandable item meaning that they can't brag wearing their "Item of Halloweenyness".

Agree, the can sucks, glad i didnt get one. But i'm very thankful for the work Braknar put into making this event happen. It was really good and 100% better than other servers generally do

Eh, that's the power of RNG hehe

Sometimes you get awesome. Sometimes you get less than awesome.
