Renux Herkanor is my absolute favorite character in EQ. Over the years I've seen her butcher so many people who underestimated her, "Lol lv 50 rogue", only to get spin stunned and stabbed to death. I admire that.

A close second is her father, Stanos. Lacking Renux's subtlety, he charges in with a storm of quads and 1k+ backstabs, easily capable of dispatching a raid force by himself. But ever considerate of others, Stanos invites all his buddies from Highpass to join in the fun, including a couple level 61 rogue GMs. He's a very fun fight and has a great backstory in the Rogue epic.

Third.. Ami the gnomish pirate. I love how they wrote her dialogue. She's basically the official version of Sneaksy.

Ami flips through a few pages of a small book, reading intently before answering you. 'Ye scurvy dog. I'll strike yer colors 'fore ya can put me on a gibbet. Take that, ya crimp!' She flips through a few more pages then smiles at you. 'Arrrr!'

Verant really hated Feerrott. Yea lets make these low level lizardman shamans proc blind with melee, why not. Later they figured ogres had to look for tailoring materials a bit too far away, so they decided to chuck some lvl4 kos bears in the lvl1 areas to slaughter the newbie fatties a little more.

Quillmane. Tracking rares in EQ as a ranger is a thrill and Quiller above all others is the most exciting to see on the old tracking list. She gives South Karana a magical quality.

Venril Sathir. I'm a bit of a lore junkie and VS's back story is awe inspiring. He murdered his own father to take control of the Kunzar tribe then became the first iksar necromancer and raised an army of undead to force the other tribes into submission (imagine the horror)...then uniting the tribes into the Iksar empire. His character in game with those massive hands and flowing robe is hella impressive.

Trakanon - Also a brilliant back story. A general of the Ring of Scale under Jaled Dar whom disobeyed orders to leave the Iksar Empire be, but instead meddled and attempted to undermine them. This started the war between iksar and dragonkind which ultimately lead to Emperor Ganak and Jaled Dar destroying each other over the Field of Bone. Phara Dar succeed her father Jaled as the ruler of RoS and wishes Trakanon dead, but Dragonkind have strict rules against dragons killing dragons...so Trananon is instead banished to Sebilis.

When i bind my necro in NFP, I *always* hammer off Laken Boorheez to mobilize.
