Cash Generating

I'm coming back after a pretty long break and I've decided to concentrate on my 40enc. Problem is I stripped him of most of his gear, so he'll need to do some CHA shopping before he can be of much use :)

The next problem is that my main (52 dru) only has about 2k plat. I doubt I'll be able to get my CHA up to 200 with that little cash, so I need to generate a bit of money.

Any idea's how he could make some quick cash over the next few days?

I know the quick suggestion will be to port people around, but are there any secrets to that? For example: Bind here, then port people from here to there, etc.

Any other items I could hunt or services I could give that people will actually buy would be helpful.

We can help you make plat. Look up anyone in Dap and get tagged up. You can freelance but you will make half of what you could with a tag.

If you are against joining you could try your hand at seafuries but they are heavily contested and frankly not worth it.

If nobody can invite you I will look for you in game if you provide an in game name.

This. Do your incandescent mask and gloves quest, rod of insidious glamour quest. Get 2 Opalline Earrings (cheap), 2 Electrum Star Ruby Rings, 2 Golden Cat Eye Bracelets, a Gypsy Medallion, a pair of Drake-Hide Leggings and you should be close to 200. You can also make a Brell-worshipping Halfling Rogue and sneak him into the Hole. I know soloing the Hole entrance on my chanter I let tons of Loam gear rot.

Stockmarket the jewelcrafter can make all jewelry and he does it cheap. You easily could get a full set of charisma gear for less than 2k, probably less than 500pp tbh.

Stockmarket is in EC off and on through the day, just look him up ingame. Cool dude too. Won't rip you off.

arms - gator scale sleeves
back - kunzar cloak
chest - oracle robe
ears - opalline earrings x2 (+10 cha)
face - incandescent mask (+7 cha)
feet - polished stone anklet
fingers - plat fire opal rings
hands - incandescent gloves (+3 cha)
head - mane attraction (+10 cha)
legs - drake hide leggings (+5 cha)
neck - sarnak arcane fetish (+5 cha)
shoulders - mantle of mirth
waist - braided cinch cord
wrists - golden catseye bracers x2 (+14 cha)
main hand - rod of insidious glamour (+12 cha)
off hand - crude stein (+15 cha)
ranged - kromzek spyglass

base 95 + items 81 + sympathetic aura 18 = 194
So, I fall short with ghetto items that were simple to quest for with a high level character with the enchanter logging in invis to do the looting, but again I'm a Dark elf so if you're a proper High Elf you can easily overshoot 200 cha on a budget.

Switch out the anklet for some loam boots (http://wiki.project1999.com/Loam_Encrusted_Lined_Shoes) (should still be cheap? easy to farm anyway) and you're set

I just logged into my ENC and am at 189CHA with my Shoulders, Chest, Back, Waist, Feet, Hands, Arms, and Range open.

Any suggestions for those spots?

Chest: Blackened Crystalline Robe (~200-300p or farm it on your druid from Crystal Caverns)
Back: Loam Encrusted Cloak (~300-400p) or any HP cloak (Dire Wolf-Hide Cloak/Hooded Black Cloak etc)
Waist: Braided Cinch Cord (300-400)
Feet: Spider Fur-lined Boots (~350)
Hands: Incandescent Gloves (~300 or quest them yourself fairly easily) or Spider Fur Gloves (~300-400)
Arms: Gatorscale Sleeves (~100)
Range: Kromzek Surveyor Scope (~50)
Shoulders: Embroidered Black Cape (~150) or find some friends to help you farm a Neriad Shawl

People's time is worth it, but how many max JCs do you think the server has? There's barely a profit to be made in tradeskilling anymore unless you're farming the gems yourself.

Red on the other hand, it's a sellers market...

If you're tight on money, I recommend a 20p spyglass over any slotted clickie.

You get all the stats, the gcd reset, an open slot for magic debuffs/dots, and a junk buff for dispells (if you pay attention)

in fact, kromzek surveyor scope is usually about the same price as a normal spyglass and gives you +5 int in your range slot.

When you start fighting mobs that use two slot pells instead of cancel magic, I would consider getting a second clickie or an earring, but even at 60 I only have it in a bag to swap on for a junk buff.


Edit: Loam boots are amazing for the 300p they cost. 8cha!

Join Dial a Port with your druid and port for plat. You can make a ridiculous amount porting (I usually clear 1k per hour, and even once hit 2k when I did some SG succors). Bind in either OT at the ramp or EC tunnel. Karnors used to be the hot spot for porting for plat (for ejacs) but now that you can ejac from anywhere, that isn't as good of a spot.

Otherwise, at 52, your farming options are somewhat limited. You could kill ice giants in EF, seafuries, or even just quad hill giants in rathe, but all of those are pretty contested areas.
