The (hard) conservative stance is it is up to the states what kind of abortion laws they want to have. If they want to say there is basically no abortion allowed -- so bit it. The problem with this is the main people that need abortions are poor and uneducated and unlikely to be able to go out of state for abortion. So the people least able to raise good citizens are forced to try to.

Now if your a mildly autistic dumbass that doesn't understand much about the world outside of your personal experience. You might be thinking "why don't women just give it up for adoption?" Well, because that is a very unnatural thing to do. Women are chemically compelled to bond with their newborns and don't like handing them over after a full-term pregnancy.

Again, we are often talking about the lowest common denominator in society...It's not even close to a significant number that are well-off good mothers that just were too lazy to take birth control or whatever other fuckin sterotype the pro-life white trash born-again red necks are pitching. A huge portion of them are low income blacks....

Yea that's what we need. A bunch of low income children with single mothers more-or-less forced to have these kids. That's totally consistent with all the rightwing arguments against immigration...

Look. The only reason this is part of platform for Republicans is to turn out the Evangelical vote. Evangelicals love to persecute sluts -- and abortion is associated (not always fairly) with being a slut. Business interests are just using it as a wedge issue -- this was basically the first wedge issue in America.

It's not that I think anyone against abortion is a piece of shit. But I have strong suspicion that all those old fucks (they're always old) outside of abortion clinics protesting are pieces of shit. Talk about misplaced anger. And this includes true-believing Judges and Justices...they twist their interpretation of the law whatever way they need to. Expansionists -- strict -- whatever gives less rights to abortion.

We had a good law after Ro vs Wade... You can have an abortion in the 1st trimester...when the fetus doesn't even have much of a nervous system and is a bunch a gope. Then for 2nd trimester...its gonna depend state to state. 3rd is likely a no go in most cases...because why wait so fucking long? At some point the fetus becomes viable as a human life.

The court scrapped that in favor of letting the Evangelic states once again block 1st term abortion. This was a mistake and the court should have never started moving backwards on it. Letting Evangelicals legislate this by state is the picture of tyranny of the majority.

i use condoms until i actually trust the woman. i had a college girlfriend try to trap my sperm into babyhood and learned my lesson. however, if i trust a woman and know she is clean i will spring for a copper-based IUD which is more effective than a condom and allows for the holy union of penis and vaginal tissues. i will benefit for at least 5 more years of financial, spiritual, and emotional maturity before raising children. thank you for considering this and god bless the heathen scum we must destroy

Really good post, especially the last clause

If every child was taught a literal picture of the books of
job and revelation from birth (IE evangelical tyranny), we would have les obese scumbag parasites than we do now. Or at least that's my interpretation of the success of Protestant, conservative, Northern Europe conquering the entirety of planet earth with ease for the past 500 years. Maybe I'm wrong and the Muslims, blacks, and Buddhists are actually great despite thousands of years of contributing nothing

Most our success was due to the enlightenment/ having greater scientific development than other creeds. Most the failures of the 3rd world can partially be attributed to them not having a Kant to explain why letting devout Muslims run anything but a mosque is fuckin' stupid.

The anti-science stance of devoted Christians has always been a real problem. And it is the main hindrance to democracy in most of the undeveloped world. Every time democracy comes up -- the fuckin religious zealots take over and turn it into a theocracy...which is why for years we have supported secular dictatorship over Muslim-dominated democracy. There was some brief debate about going the other way on this...but I don't this this post-modern idea about accepting Muslim theocracies is going to last another 10 years.

Here's the thing about Islam...we keep making it popular with our supression of socialist ideas and promotion right-wing secular dictatorships. So the big bad bullies are associated with anti-religious forces. The Muslims use this as an opportunity to be seen as the good moral guys that are just trying to help their own people (against the evil white christian/secular countries).

So we can leave them alone and eventually my belief is that they will have their own enlightenment (because post-modern idea about countries developing their own way is largely bullshit -- people are all the same and societies reflect this). But we got to stop waving our dick in front of their face, controlling oil, propping up phonies and otherwise letting the banking and oil industry run our foreign policy.

Even then it will take time. At first Muslims are the only organized group. Because secular dictatorships clamp down on anything except Muslims. This is all way too long term and chaotic for oil interest to allow...so until that influence is questioned in our own domestic politics, the middle east has no hope.

Islam and Christianity are different. Protestantism's stressing of literacy created the situation allowing the enlightenment. The Catholic Church kept classic history and literature, in addition to Roman culture, Alive in the west. It was also the sole meritocracy in the west, and possibly the world, for most of its history

It's no accident that history played out the way it did. You oppose Christianity at your own peril. I'm not saying you should believe the Bible literally, although it would be an improvement on whores like cash me ousside girl or 99% of rappers, but I am saying one day, when you're in a mine working for a Chinese overlord, you'll be begging for jesus to save you but then it'll be too late

I repeat: the legacy of Rome and the Christian religion created western civ. Without both you wil collapse. You'll still be able to smoke weed wnd play EQ pussy. You just might have to work 40 hours a week and marry a good woman in addition to that. Oh yeah, spoiler alert. Your current purpose free (non)existence might actually be a less happy condition for humanity to live in than one where you have a family, a community, and blondes

Hope this helps!

Dude Islam is popular because of the womb. Give women no rights and they will have 8 kids per woman. Then we have idiots like yourself crying "refugee" and bending over backwards to let them in. Roses are red, violets are blue, Muslims suck, and so do you

Even if that were true. That literacy was only encouraged by Christianity and that there is something really special about Romain culture -- all that shows is at a certain phase in history -- Christianity had the advantage. We have moved waaay past Roman Catholicism or Protestantism in this country. That shit is just virtue signaling at this point in America/Europe.

It is our belief in the scientific method that has got us to this point...the point where our military is stronger than ever but still wants progressively more money so it can continue to dominate the world.

And it will be the same when China surpasses us. They will have conservative dumbass in their country claiming it was something special about Confucianism. But the real reason is their state made math and science education a bigger priority than the United States did. And Confucianism in actuality was the reason they fell behind the west temporarily.

The main unique thing about Christianity -- is that it was permissive about state power. Early on there was the idea about the "Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God, the things that are God’s..." Throughout the Holy Roman Empire's existence the pope was considered to have authority over spiritual matter alone -- and the king over secular matters...and only briefly were the two ever combined (when the pope basically agreed the prospective king was "Emperor" and did God's work).

This is very different than Buddhism...which generally advocated staying out of state matters and warfare of any kind (even though they never practiced this when their states are at war).

And especially different from Muslims -- who combined both law and order secular matters with religion. There really is no Muslim idea about seperation of church and state.

Separation of church and state is essentially a Christian idea that limits its own authority. Because you can't base a state on moralistic platitudes over empirical evidence.

The eastern Christian tradition didn't result in the reformation or counter reformation. They never embraced pragmatism

Also, your buddy Marx had a fair bit to do with fucking up Russian culture. Who knows what would've happened had the White Russians won. I don't really care about that though. A person can convert to Christianity and I'd assume you think that means I'd argue they took a magic pill and are now superior to non-Christians. Not what I'm saying

Western civ is superior, basic traditions like family and work ethic are dying, and a little more day to day social comservatism (not policy advocacy or social conservatism in the public sphere) could go a long way to making your generation and those after you better human beings. Most in debt, most obese, least sex, most STDs of any generation. Also the least Christian. Put two and two together bud. No more excuses or mistakes. Work harder, get women wet, stop being a bitch, accept the past 1700 years of your history and recognize its purpose

Adam Carolla -- a conservative from California -- has been saying every problem in the world is mostly family and education. If you are raised in an environment that values family and education -- there tend not to be any big problems.

But Christians are not the only group that stresses family and education. In fact, only mainline protestants tend to even value education at all -- not evangelicals as much. Jews and Chinese are great examples of groups that stress family and education. You can see the results there.

Meanwhile white working class protestants are rare in college; largely due to the fucked up "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" ideology their dumbass parents have -- making college impossible until they feel "too old" to sign up for it. Let's face it. There is a shelf life on that whole "college experience" thing. By late 20's, it ain't really gonna happen; regardless of whether or not you go to college and get a degree later.

Here's the thing conservatives refuse to admit...if everyone lived like they did their life would suck. Because there would be too much corresponding competition for all their overpaid jobs and inflated social positions.

If people truly followed conservative advice fully (in a magic world where things are that simple) -- it would be a living hell for most people. Your advocating for own dystopia. You need the fuck-ups to do all the grunt work for you and pass up the earnings of their labor.

Hate to tell you this dude but a world full of Christian blondes wearing sundresses walking directly from church to the football stadium isn't a dystopia. A world full of Haitians holding placards with lines like "overpaid jobs" and "grunt work" is my own personal hell, however. I agree that the Jews and Chinese have work ethic and family values. A broken clock is right twice a day

This is part of why decent white men are preferring Asian women of conservative background.

I grew up in a good Catholic and Mormon family with a lot of deep baptist cultural connections. Plenty of pleasent Sunday school and pancakes. I ate and drank the blood of Christ regularly, baptized by a priest with lines back to Peter.

I turned out like shit, all my childhood acquaintances are tattoed std ridden failures and meth addled whores who's kids run wild. Or they died in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

There's no survivors in this fucked up game.

Religion has failed. Rampant greed, ignorance, and an oppressive militarized nanny state that protects privileged groups from adversity and warfare killed this country.

People got soft when they could eat out every day, get out of jail for being "Christian and white" and stopped having to actually survive.

They're still the same underneath it all. Even worse as they are more so fronts for $$ and political will. It took me 5 mins to find lakewoods justifications to teaching shit like creationism, intelligent design, and young earth, and bible law. (bible law, Talmudic law, story time law, is super jewy btw).

Not interested in them. As I know their tithes are going to wasteful and dishonest tyrants like the Heritage Foundation.

Christians have a duty to not fall into Acedia and neglect and to check and maintain their leaders and churches. To think for themselves rather than let bitter old pedo men who claim to be priests tell them what to think and how to legislate that thought on their "chattel" through shaming and a militarized police state.

The only truth in my opinion in the scriptures is that these dirty old hypocrites who bare false witness will bring with it their churches and nation to ruin.

So called "christianity" may be winning a short term battle this year, but I feel a righteous holy spirit driven anger that will rise up and destroy them.

What will happen in the long run if these institutions don't get out of politics and academia is that we will be left with a godless atheistic totalitarian left which will be 100x worse than anything the theocratic dominionists could achieve. And we'll be left with no choice.

God abhors hatred, ignorance, and prejudice in his name and I don't think it will end well for these SJW faiths.

This is how the American system of government works: People vote and the government does not interfere with their lives and they are free to do as they wish.

this is how socialism works: People vote, but there are undesirables in society that we want to get rid of so we can live in harmony. People do not vote on how to do this we allow the government to do whatever they think is the best solution at that time.

The mistake socialists make when they hear this: "Are you kidding the republicans want to get rid of all the illegal immigrants!"

the misunderstanding stems from the concept that the American system of government is designed to protect AMERICANS from the government, not foreigners.

The bill of rights does not give every person on the planet the same protection it gives american citizens, nor does it give people who simply stand on our dirt the same rights as those citizens.

But make no mistake, in every socialist system the popular majority controls every aspect of everyones life. The POPULAR majority, that isnt the "majority" its the "most popular group" in power that gets to make the decisions. But like all forms of power, the more power you are given, the more you can control what people think is popular opinion (using things like the media, the way they are doing right now) to make it seem like the group in power, is the most popular, so they rule with impunity.

Socialism is taking the extremist 10% most vocal group and putting them into power. How would you feel if trump was able to rule with that same impunity? Say what you will about Republicans, at least they are not trying to create a system of government that allows a minority to rule with absolute, unconstitutional power.

Only ONE system has protections for the people as its very foundation, and it aint socialism.

GOD BLESS america and Death to Communist traitors.

I don't like big government.

Patriam, I'm not rustled, but I am very concerned about America and Christianity. We could very well watch what underpinned a great shift technologically and through the demolition of monarchy turn into a horrific secular dystopia of warring factions because mud people won't think and grow and always want to push their beliefs defacto on others without coming together and working within reasonable boundaries to bring Jesus to the world.

When you make people similar to me hate Jesus, you are failing Jesus.

P.s. I don't hate Jesus or the Christian Enlightenment. I hate what it's becoming, a front for organized crime, political control, and fraud. And the people who really don't get it, but think they do.

democracy and economic policy aren't the same type of thing. you're comparing apples and haldol.

socialism does not have a separation between democracy(the government) and economic policy, while the American system of government does.

Look vaccinations for example, that has nothing to do with economic policy but as far as the socialists are concerned the right to privacy prevents them from forcing you to vaccinate your child, therefore we must get rid of the right to privacy.

The american system of government isnt ONLY about the economy, and neither is socialism, the bill of rights isnt an economic plan ya moran.

hope this helps you understand something.

The government isn't very good at regulating business because of regulatory capture. To me -- this proves that lots of a government regulation of business isn't likely to make anything any better.

Wealth transfers and government run business have a much better track record however. I think we could nationalize the oil and banking industries and make them work better for everyone rather than a small subset of elites.

There really isn't good justification why people should "Own" oil as their private property. We all need oil. Oil is not that complicated and governments are able to oversee drilling of it. We should drill the shit out of it and consider it a public good.

Meanwhile, wealth transfers isn't really a big government kind of operation. It takes a lot more money to hire people to sift through who should and shouldn't have food stamps than it would just to give everyone the sub 200 bucks a month in food money.

Big Bureaucracy is a problem. They take on a life of their own and end up generating lots of pointless jobs and tasks. It is never a good time to cut a bureaucracy as far as the bureaucrats are concerned. In fact, when cuts are forced -- they tend to focus on the most useful thing the bureaucracy does to cut first.

JD, there are no answers to life's problems. You can only persist in the face of "adversity" and adapt to "challenges." I put both of those in quotations because honestly, no one in America really faces that much adversity or challenges, at least those of us with enough free time to shit post. The point is, if I had been your father and beaten you once, you probably would've been a great man instead of a whiner. Since it's Sunday and Christ is love, why not stop complaining and instead plan on how, beginning tomorrow morning at 6AM, you will stop pondering how others, the system, or the world can change and instead man the fuck up? that's how dad did it. That's how America does it

It remains to be seen what'll happen with these two very broken parties.

An influx of socially moderate and egalitarian Republicans willing to reduce the power and reach of the feds, police, cia, nsa, department of homeland security, militarization of our surveillance state, who respect the rule of law and everyone's constitutional rights would be a good thing.

Fat chance though.

What does socially moderate mean? We're far too permissive and lax as it is. Bullying and public floggings / stockades need to make a swift comeback.

I was in a restaurant and some ethnically ambiguous, probably Puerto Rican mulatto children were kicking the back of my booth from their side. The mother (no father) was taken aback that I would dare rise from my seat and calmly explain that I'm middle eastern and people have been suicide bombed for less. After she quickly silenced her mongrels, I was left to ponder:
Why do foodstamps cover brunch at a fine Rice Village establishment?
Why do parents think it's acceptable for children to not know rigid discipline immediately following departure form the womb?
Why are the children of single mothers always unruly and hideously ugly?

I'm going to start an unscientific study about this. It's Mother's Day next week so me and the wife are jetting off to Yunan (Greece) to enjoy the Mediterranean, but following my return I will find the answers I seek.

You did the right thing!

Why is this the government's job? Why should I pay for the euthanasia of undesirable people? This should be handled first and foremost at the family level. Then whoever self identifies as the head of household should be held responsible for their chattel by the other heads. This is the organic and most efficient solution. It gives children who are better than there parents an essential chance to dispose and replace them without the state interfering or becoming liable.

But, no, we have a federal government enforcing what should be county level laws.

I'm in agreement with you mostly patriam. People have been suicided for less.

By the age of 8 I was totally able to survive in the wilderness without parental supervision.

People shouldn't be able to run to the police every time someone upsets them. As a minority I don't have the police or feds as an option, nor do I expect them to ever protect me. My corpse will be cold for a year before any police or petty bureaucrat lifted so much as a pinky in response.

We need to place limits on the government and de-emphasize their involvement in personal affairs. They should exist to keep the Chinese in check and go after organized crime and keep the state's free from being interfered with commercially by each other.

Listen, I want to expound on what I said earlier.

Do you: Want the government to be receiving money from the populace, either directly through taxes, or indirectly, through religious institutions, or non-profits (like LGBTQ ones, (two diametrically opposed groups for the most part)) and creating "morality police" who get to decide how exactly loud a child may be in a movie theatre? I mean it's a pleasent pipe dream that those police and that money will be effective, well spent and utilized, but if social security, the ACA, mortgage regulations, and environmental protections are any indication it will not effectively remove all "discomfort" from your petty little lives upset about petty little differences. And eventually psychopathic sociopathes (yes I'm probably a bit of both) like me, will start becoming the norm and we will destroy your "pleasentville" with our cunning, intellect, and abject hatred of humanity. Do you wan't the government taking up all your money and redistributing it to those parents of noisy children because their skirts measure the appropriate length and they happen to be in power today?

Do you want the money in our society going to crappy police that enforce burka rules, cite women who wear bathing suits too short, (yes 1950s America) or billy clubbin men with hair to long? Do you wan't all the muslim enforced rules about alcohal and prohibition? Christians aren't really any better, despite what you think, maybe a tiny bit, but not better enough about this, we did go through prohibition, we do have tons of organized crime even still. Godlessness in government isn't the problem, it's godlessness in your own lives and own homes, because most of you are ready to throw stones without taking a deep long look at yourselves first. I throw these stones, because, believe it or not, I'm pretty legit. I expect God will be displeased with me, because I'm not perfect, but me and him are OK with that. I'm not trying to make god perfect for me. Do you want a well established morality police being the only ones with guns? Do you wan't to have to pay more for special privileges. Because this is what communism is. Everyone earns state approval points to rise up the social ladder through the state instead of amongst themselves individually. This is exactly what the liars and politicians TELL you they are trying to save you from, but it's what will be implemented if you don't pull your singlermotherfucking heads out of your asses. You will no longer be allowed to create and enjoy those privileges that you enjoy yourself. You get to petition the state to allow it. Want a church! Petition to the state to make sure it's an "approved one". Wan't a public school, ohhh no, go through the state!. Good for you, now you can't have your freedom to be little faggots to each other over your genitals assigned at birth, now you have to ask the state for a safe space to be homophobic or queer! Congratulations comrad!

Is that an effective use of resources that accomplishes anything and won't be abused by one side or the other?

I mean, granted, if you want a strict authoritarian society, with great social justice, and perfectly aligned social interests, absolute equality? I'm your dictator. Everyone, and I mean absolutely EVERYONE will get along, anyone who has a problem will be dialed up by a cellular device and your heads will explode graphically as a demonstration of the greater public will, all for feeling uncomfortable and making other people feel uncomfortable by your uncomfortableness. You will report to your duty assignments on time and happy. And it will all be run by a glorious AI that I'm the only one with access to the guts of. You will enjoy your productive, spiritually fulfilled, lives immensely. It will be extremely easy for you to remember the only thing that matters, your #, which is going to be "your value" in our society, and it will be the only thing that determines your privilages. I mean. I will create a fucking glorious utopia for you #345,234,340, you will most likely rank higher than 1 million other people and be free to lord over them as you wish! Remember the more productive you are the more opportunities you have to rise up over others! Lets get ourselves to #1 billion ASAP!

One could argue that we can some how strike some kind of balance that favors some Christian minorities, however, I honestly don't see that working longer than say, 14 years at most before absolute anarchy comes through, nor will it actually make us a nation of strong independent, free thinking people who can easily defeat the Chinese with weapons from space and biological warfare that only targets Asians.

So these are our options - I'm going to take true Republican, true republican freedom (as opposed to fake republican bullshit socialism which is what we have now), and develop those pathogens, and space based weapons, and let the faggots do it for me, and I'm going to let the Amish make nice butter and not bother them when they whip their children behind horses, so that life is worth living, because that Amish butter is delicious.

This is the American way, and if you don't want to get with the program, this patriot will program you. Because I am not going to play around with disciplining your kids or you for you.

Once you start deciding what morality is, and favoring one group of ideals over another you start this back and forth, that ever escalates until total warfare, which is exactly what is happening now between both fraudulent parties. Parties not interested in the wealth of this nation, but simply maintaining control over the influx of money from it. Our republicans and democrats are simply vultures and maggots devouring a rotting carcass because everyone has become complacent and complicit in giving up their self governance.

Don't tread on me.

When's the last time some upstart kid disappearing didn't make the news? Because it should have just been dealt with and family should have dug it's own graves?

People die for the dumbest reasons now a-days and then we spend a million fucking bucks and have to listen to ambulances and police all fucking day long. And then it makes the news as if we should fucking care, and if we don't, we're somehow bad.... Because we some how as individuals can't take care of our own in our society without involving total strangers.

God for bid, someone actually died before the age of 12 for being an asshat.

To me, we aren't really doing much to decrease suffering of anyone, we are just sharing it, nationally with each-other. Imagine if Dylann Roof died at 5 instead of living as long as he has? Just fucking imagine the years worth of suffering that could have been quickly and quietly dealt with if people just weren't gutless pathetic cowards and worms.

Why is the government monitoring everything, so if a kid disappears it is more of a concern to "the government" and all of us than it is to the people who should be disappearing them?

Part of that problem is like all the instant tracking of whats happening to everyone everywhere. There's no room for self correction without the system being red alerted over something it shouldn't care about to begin with.

There's a file a mile deep on everyone, and if someone doesn't show up to work, the police get called, instead of hiring someone else.

I don't put faith in the government as it currently. I put faith people to understand their self interest in the long run. Things get better. But they never seem to get that way by listening to old well-off conservatives that we should continue things as usual.

Charlie Chaplin said it best (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w8HdOHrc3OQ)

We never used to talk about how America starts wars all around the world. That we are empire. That neoliberalism is a failure. That "socialism" -- meaning democratic socialism -- is a viable alternative. This is all new.

We are in an adjustment period in some sense. We haven't changed as much as we would like to think from the medieval times where our leaders didn't understand economics yet controlled everyone lives as if they did. With their myths about "things just have to work this way -- the treasury needs gold! -- and all the mercantile ineffective policies we followed for many years.

Classical Liberal Capitalism is just another stepping stone. It is not "the end of history."
Zuckerberg's favorite book is: the End of Power. And I don't think he is just cynically recommending it to cover-up his immense power. I think our leaders have been getting nervous for a long time about the newer generations. They got the Hippies under control with T.V. and really good paying jobs for what they were -- But they couldn't keep the payments to the populice up while continuing obscene profit.

What happened to Greece? Remember how hopeless and stupid all those lefty people were for thinking they can get "free stuff"? Well turns out they can. They just get it from the rich. And then the west calls them terrorists to cover up their shame ideology about how necessary "austerity" (stealing from the poor) is.

Economies work better with less rich people in them. With the bar rises and millions of ordinary people are buying things everyday. You know we actually have about the same portion of world wealth we did in the times of the post war economy? We just have that wealth concentrated in Multi-National Corporations based in America...in other words -- its not a fairly tale or a poney that there is enough money in the economy get a regular job and support a family. That was ideology sold to people as these 54 corporations sucked all the resources out of the working class. In fact -- it should be easy as ever with the concept of general plenty in full swing.

More liek a Correctional Restittuion Cooperative. Inmates would be paid, so they would have a vested interest in the financial performance of their state-operated interment center. Those serving life sentences would still work, their earnings would just be used to offset the increasing cost of their care as they age. I don't see the issue with forced labor (slavery) for criminals though, if the state can deny criminals their life (capital punishment) and liberty (imprisonment, restricted rights upon release) while denying ordinary people the right to decline (taxation, draft, service), why can't we additionally deny criminals the right to decline to participate in funding their imprisonment?

Company houses were outlawed too, I think. The practice thereof anyway. Nuancing a label doesn't change the thing.

I am unwilling to lobotomize myself for the purpose of placating conscience with false premises and broken logic as much as I am uninterested in entertaining ideological consistency for its own sake.

Penal labor is specifically allowed by the 13th amendment and reviling it as wrong because we feel strongly against slavery is about as sensible as protesting government sanctioned theft (taxation) or infanticide (abortion) on moral grounds.

Compelling to labor those individuals who have transgressed society is fundamentally different from the systematic abduction and enslavement of others for personal gain in the same way that shooting an eight year old child is different from dismembering a 6month old fetus in the womb or how stealing a person's TV to fund a life of lawlessness is different from taking a portion of their earnings to manage society. If you don't see the differences, then nuance is somewhere beyond your reach. In fact, there is a common reason across each of those comparisons that makes one less repugnant than the other.

Americanism is the only god damn goverment that is both moral, and promotes healthy evolutionary growth.

Socialism is moral but it hinders our natural growth, it is like saying "lets limit the posibilities so that everyone can be safe and happy"

While americanism allows the strong to survive and the weak to die out, while still allowing anyone who WANTS to do whatever they want, to do whatever they want.

The only true moral choice is americanism

If it is unconstitutional, then its not allowed, if it is, then it is.

Its simple. Segrigation, abuse, invading privacy, all the shit that socialists are afraid of reguarding capitalism, is fucking protected under the constitution and the bill of rights.

ITS VERY IRONIC that those same people want to shore up those documents because they think they're making life unsafer for all.

Socialism = authoritarianism no matter which way you smoke it.
Americanism = god damn mother fucking freedom.

discipline, work ethic, pride, conformity and respect are all integral components of success and independence, which most men not only desire, but expect and often demand. if you are content ceding your liberty to another and circumstances align such that it is a viable option for your life, then by all means, embrace that symbiosis. That not the case however for most criminals whose actions are an unambiguous assertion of their right to decide. Learning that consequence is the many-faced bride of action is more crucial to social development than simple savagery in a state of nature.

As I said in my original post, prisoners would be compensated for their labors, but also charged the cost of their imprisonment. Upon release, they would receive any excess. This vests the prisoner's interest in the performance of his prison as well as that of his fellow inmates by extension. That is profound because it fosters shame and accountability, which amplify advancement in the areas outlined in the paragraph above.

It should also be said that it is immoral to foist the costs of their correction upon others who have willfully even if grudgingly surrendered to and abided in the social contract. Neither is there a pragmatic argument for diverting investment from efficient resources to volatile or even less efficient ones.

13th amendment doesn't say anything about the prisoner having to incur the cost of their impriaonment, tho'.

prove it

as far as i can tell, his political message is it's time to operate on the basis that there is a hierarchy. Meaning you can objectively say some things are better and others are worse, and that it's better to not be an ethnocentric ideologue who operates in group identity politics. This is supported by empirical evidence dating back 350 million years that proves hierarchies exist in nature and are not a function of a desire to oppress. Ken Wilber's most recent book outlines how developed hierarchical structures are actually LESS oppressive than ones in an earlier stage of development. he also does an excellent job of breaking down the development of an individual and how it is reflected by societies through time. If you read this you will gain an understanding of how the worldcentric green party was corroded by postmodern paradigms of post-truth bullshit and have led us to this point. It's worth a read for sure. In short, postmodern academics have twisted marxism into the left 'green' movement and created a hypocritical paradigm that serves only to create nihilism, destruction, and polarization under the guise of inclusive egalitarianism.

Here's Peterson's entire political stance AFAIK:

It is superior to operate out of a functional framework that creates useful, productive humans who support each other and create healthy societies, rather than pathological ones. The leftists are currently pathological and need to be checked.

That's really about all I've heard him say in terms of politics in about 5 hours of content I have listened to while traveling recently.

So until you can come back with a much more coherent argument than an offhand remark i'm going to have to continue operating under the pretense that you are an individual who is prone to making rather stupid remarks which are often wrong.

Theft exists in nature. Murder exists in nature. Rape exists in nature. WTF is your point? Hierarchies are a good thing because we naturally tend to rank people depending on how threatening they are to us?

This dumbass compared the feminist movement to Maoism...You know those dumbasses wearing pussy hats and tramping around in mini skirts -- same thing as guys wearing army uniforms, smashing shit, beating people, and shutting down anything except the army/factories (schools, churches etc). His argument was "herp a durr their both collectivist and thus Stalinist/Maoist/Obama supporter.

You have to be kind of an idiot to compare those too things. He has that same glazed look all those drilled in Anti-Marxist propaganda have when the subject of "liberalism" comes up. The very fact he thinks someone like Hilary Clinton or the stupid #Metoo movement is at all similar to something Bernie or Chomsky is talking about -- or Stalin or Lenin for that matter -- means he's way out of his depth.

Sometimes I say stupid things on this forum for fun. Particularly when it comes to defending Stalin or Mao or anything totalitarian like that. In reality. I don't think those systems of government are anything but fascist. I don't really see a ton of difference in how the Nazi party operated and how the bolsheviks operated. They have different philosophical roots -- but their methods are identical.

Marx -- who do think has quite a few good points -- described a government ran by things like worker co-ops. These actually work really well -- better than our current corporate governance system. That would be a Marxist policy. Women having equal rights to men -- that is a Marxist policy. Less war and no Imperialism would be a Marxist policy.

None of these types of governance are addressed head on by the childish right. It's all straw man "look at Stalin" arguments. Can't have equal rights without opening up the gulags. Can't look at corporate governance without Maoist riots destroying society.

Its pretty embarrassing on an intellectual level. Just like all the pro slavery arguments were in this country until finally people acknowledged this was mostly about Plantation owners and Textile factories.

Here's fundamentally why any educated person should never consider Communist regimes --- as they existed in the world -- to theoretical Marxism:

None of those regimes trusted the workers to run corporations or "the means of production." Lenin overthrew the worker co-ops early on so "the party" could control everything in a top down totalitarian fashion -- similar to how corporations are ran in this country.

In general. Workers were to be silent pawns for the ruling party to use to quickly industrialize their nations. Which means -- they were essentially arguing "we need to be temporarily fascist to catch up to the other nations." Stalin accomplished what he did by terrorizing everyone into submission. Especially the class that is most corrupt -- the upper classes.

Marx never said 1 ruling party will temporarily become fascist and lead the people into a socialist utopia. He said "the workers" would spontaneously rise up and seize the means of production in a developed economy...probably because of machines reducing the need for labor.

Marx is not a god psychic. But he has a point on how unsustainable it is in the long run to have such a small number lording over everyone else via property laws. It's like born like any other animal...except some tiny group of gorillas you never meet get to plan your life more-or-less from cradle to grave without you or anyone else ever getting any say on how this operation works.

It's just probably not going to maintain itself indefinitely. Wealth concentrates. Wealth concentrates. Wealth concentrates and no one on the right has ever addressed that issue head on.

You know they did an experiment with Monopoly where they had 1 person cheating the whole time and then asked them if they deserved to win...most thought they deserved to win despite the cheating because they played better/

hierarchies are a good thing because they form an objective basis of truth upon which humans can operate, develop, and improve.

that's my point. It's really Peterson's point, and other people's as ewll. I was very clear in my previous post, which you quoted. I am sorry you have bad reading comprehension. It is clear to me now that you do not have a developed level of thought in this regard. You do not understand the impact of post-modern thought on what was once a very liberal and progressive cultural movement, "the green party."

It has regressed them to ethnocentric group identity politics, whicht hey are supposedly fighting against.

This is what mick has been talking about all along.

I can see by your post here that you have a very shallow understanding of the philosophical tenets which lead to totalitarian regimes such as Maoism. Your statement that Nazis and Bolsheviks have identical methods is patently false.

You say that Marxist governments work really well. Prove it (you cant)

I now wash my hands of your frail, weed addled, criminal mind bye bye

30 years was a fast amount of time to industrialize for Russia. China has also been uniquely successful at industrializing as a backward nation...There is plenty of prof that those totalitarian/authoritarian systems were good at bringing their nations into the industrial era. Most people would agree they would not have liked to been in those countries during this period of time, however.

Chomsky on Postmodernism (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjQA0e0UYzI)*

The green party is really not a postmodern party...I have no idea where that accusation comes from. They have a narrative of truth based on science. That is a modernist -- not post modernist -- notion.

Chomsky's big idea is that those in power need to justify their power....you must be the other guy that thinks those in power are justified because they have power. Either that or you should stop listening to grey haired rightwing psychologists explaining what the green party is all about and just ask them.

Hierarchy of ideas -- as in which ideas are more persuasive than others...that really is not what most people mean by hierarchy -- but I grant you that there is room for that.

*They are pretty short videos but for those of you too lazy to watch. Chomsky thinks that postmodernism is BS invented by professors to get promotions. He really isn't the first leftwinger to say this...this goes way back to the new atheists who saw postmodernism as the stupid part of the left....not to mention pretty much any serious Marxist. It's worth noting that postmodernism serves to justify religious belief on the right -- and for that reason alone I dislike it...

Basically Postmodernist took a good point -- that we need to be skeptical of narratives explaining objective reality because we all see things subjectively -- and then ran wild with it claiming that none of us can know what is more likely to be true so its all a 50/50 push....Muslims have "their truth" and we have ours as Capitalists, and some have theirs as Marxists.....this is stupid because some or all of those groups are actuality wrong. There is an objective reality and its stupid to give up trying to figure it out.

He does understand psychology very well though. The problem with psychologists in my experience, is they understand people on a individual level so by extension they think they understand systems of government better than those that actually study systems of government.

Like this idea that Trump is going to be a massive warmonger because he has a short fuse and is vain....that's not how it works. This is the wiki:

Postmodernism is a broad movement that developed in the mid- to late-20th century across philosophy, the arts, architecture, and criticism and that marked a departure from modernism.[1][2][3] The term has also more generally been applied to the historical era following modernity, and the tendencies of this era.[4]

While encompassing a disparate variety of approaches, postmodernism is typically defined by an attitude of skepticism, irony, or rejection toward the meta-narratives and ideologies of modernism, and often calls into question various assumptions of Enlightenment rationality.[5] Common targets of postmodern critique include universalist notions of objective reality, morality, truth, human nature, reason, language, and social progress.[5] Postmodern thinkers frequently call attention to the contingent or socially-conditioned nature of knowledge claims and value systems, situating them as products of particular political, historical, or cultural discourses and hierarchies.[5] Accordingly, postmodern thought is broadly characterized by tendencies to self-referentiality, epistemological and moral relativism, pluralism, subjectivism, and irreverence

The green party has nothing to do with criticizing notions of objective reality, morality, reason, human nature -- or anything like that. Neither does Marxism or Libertarianism from what I can tell. Most ideas they espouse were largly there in the modernist era.

The only time I remember postmodern theory really helping me out -- is to notice that Americans have the idea in their heads that we have some kind of right to tell other countries how to run their laws or economy. It never hit me until then that "collateral damage" is not a good excuse for killing people in other countries unless our hand is absolutely forced...it hasn't been since world war II...and even then it wasn't at a certain point when we insisted on Germany/Japan's unconditional surrender.

All wars since Vietnam have been bullshit wars...you can make an argument for Korea I guess.

There is a popular argument that Bernie shouldn't run as a Democrat but run as a new party -- because the Democratic one is too corrupt. They are not at all popular in national elections and not even local ones really.

This postmodern crap takes the form of student movements that get a disproportionate amount of media coverage...because they are a lot less threatening to elites than things like the teachers strike in West Virgina. denying people god is a dangerous proposition. good luck building a functioning society from overmedicated nihilistic materialists. any institution that reduces morality to tolerance alone is destined for death.

the untruths that you are unhappy with are important behavioral regulators. most of us are incapable of developing a nuanced assessment of the entirety of a situation every time action is demanded of us and when we are, we are often incapable of rejecting carnal impulse in favor of our reasoned conclusions. perhaps the most damning aspect of our nature is that absent some external framework of restraint, reason will almost always align itself in our minds with carnal impulse.

the purpose of god is accountability. there are two alternatives that I am aware of: accountability to one's group and accountability to the law. The former imposes regulation via shame for non-conformity and is at odds with egalitarian notions of individualism and universal tolerance. The latter is only as effective as it's ability to surveil and penalize the population and is prone to corruption. There is no escaping the eye of god and there is little escaping the eye of society at large, but absent a robust totalitarian police state, there is much that escapes the eye of government and much more that it is simply blind to.

Forcing god on people is pretty bad too, albiet were not there yet, but we're really close to that line and we've never quite had an appropriate buffer, and it shouldn't be anywhere near the Federal Governments position that GoD is important or unimportant.

Here, I hope this clears things up for you. I must really care about you!

These are stages of individual development. Society and culture has also developed along these same lines over history. We see these strata emerge in our politics today.

I won't even touch your hyper-destructive thought patterns about denying spirituality to the masses. No offense, but you're still at a very immature phase with dealing with your relationship towards Christianity. I had that happen to, as a fellow Southerner.

it's not about One God. It's not about Jesus, Krishna, Mohammed, or Buddha. Praying and believing in any of those would do a lot for your moral abilities, mental health, and social support.

Try reading the book called Spiritual Children to better understand the power of spirituality and community.

It's not about God. It's about God. God isn't real in the sense that you think we're talking about God. It's just a symbol dude.

Your saying that I am somehow relativist? I think the truth is relative and there is no objective truth?

Exactly what are you saying really?

That I would be more popular and socially connected if I went to church? Yea no shit. That's the only reason people put up with this illogical crap to begin with.

The right seems very postmodern indeed on this forum. Way past explaining why universal healthcare is a bad idea on a materialist level -- and pushing some spiritual idea about how it is vaguely immoral because it is lumped in with a bunch of other unrelated philosophical crap and thus bad.

You know Warren Buffet, Chase, and Bezo's recently came out and admitted that single payer is a way better way to do healthcare. They're just trying to find a way to profit off it before we go down that path. That's not really about a spiritual evolution...its just math...too much GDP going toward medical bills.

Postmodern can just refer to a time period after the modern era...in the sense we are all postmodern. But generally people invoke that phase to describe a kind of philosophy done at universities that is highly irrelevant to modern politics...except for the Identity part....because they are running out of actual laws to bitch about without touching on economic reform -- which our overlords do not want.

His psychological points aren't bad. His point that we can't have a mature conversation in the workplace about sexual harassment...

However, his politics are just as childish as the feminists he criticizes so I find him a bit self-defeating in this regard.

This is the post you took issue with. I still believe this and I'm highly confused what part of any of your posts really addresses that opinion about Jordan Peterson

prove it

as far as i can tell, his political message is it's time to operate on the basis that there is a hierarchy. Meaning you can objectively say some things are better and others are worse, and that it's better to not be an ethnocentric ideologue who operates in group identity politics. This is supported by empirical evidence dating back 350 million years that proves hierarchies exist in nature and are not a function of a desire to oppress.

Who doesn't agree with that in modern politics? At least ostensibly?

Part of the free market is politicians being bought out and oligopolies/oligarchy forming over time. There is no reason to think it would end in any other matter.

So it's childish to think there will be a "free market" in which things are not rigged for the benefit of a few. It means you haven't spent any amount of time considering that downside to capitalism and are just looking for rationalizations about why it works.

It's childish to cry Maoism every time there are leftwing protests.

How do we fix that problem BTW? Any ideas out of the right? Market economies consolidate into oligarchies -- FACT. The right refuses to address this.

Are oligarchies good? Is there some magical way the market will correct itself and there won't be oligarchies? Do tell...

this would be very much in line with what a lot of world religions believe as the cyclical nature of human development. We hit this godhead level of supernatural wisdom and intelligence and beauty and then descend to the mud-sucking cavedwelling incesters. It's pretty frightening but I don't think we'll see it for multiple generations. We're int he age of Kali after all.

Yeah he hasn't done this. he has pointed out there's a link between the leftist ideology and Maoism and what happened in the USSR. You're presenting hypergeneralized statements that are also NOT TRUE. I've listened to maybe 8 hours of content now and I've heard him discuss the link between this once.

So you're definitely doing some purely emotional reaction here pal.

As to the conversation about free market vs. the USSR and communist china

Have you ever considered that we have it better than USSR and Communist china ever did? Sure, there's corruption and problems, but it's actually less corruption. The American Economic Empire certainly is working out a lot better for a miniscule margin of people and creating exploitation elsewhere. However, it's not nearly as bad as British Colonial Rule was. There also aren't mass genocides. Personally, I have had a lot of challenge and struggle and things happen to me which would make it really hard to succeed financially. And yet I still find American ideals in the public domain to value excellence and merit, which can be cultivated if you care about succeeding, promoting, and contributing to a healthier society.

I'm not saying capitalism is perfect. And i'm not really interested in discussing economics with you for 2 main reasons. 1) I am ignorant in this field and need to study foundations before discussing advanced applications. 2) You have a stark dualist perspective which is still incapable of understanding there is good and evil in everything, and sometimes you have to accept the monster within. This is pretty naive, dude, and I don't really have the time to lift you up out of it right now.

I gotta go back to work god bless

I just want to point out how not even skarlorn will address the simple reality that wealth concentrates and those with the wealth rig the system in their favor. It's getting worse not better -- and were still simple told "look at the Soviet Union -- is that what you are saying is better?" And yet -- I'm accused of having a duelist perspective of good vs evil...

I think that is what peterson and you doing in reality. Pitting a totalitarian regime that existed for 30 years in the modern era -- against capitalism as it currently exists in America, and acting as if there are no other substantive alternatives.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=1455&v=aMcjxSThD54

at 24 mins, peterson compares trans Activists to Maoism. "The philosophy that drives their utterances is the same philosophy that drove Maoism"....Because they are both collectivists....so in his mind...same difference. I think that's childish.

Economics -- if you take it -- is mostly a math class where you learn how to chart curves on excel....Our government picks out the economists that say the things our politicians and business leaders like. They ignore the ones that say things they don't like. They have given the noble prize to economists that have said opposite things within the span of a few years.

Political Economy is the study of how economies work in the real world. We study Sweden, Germany, USA, the 3rd world, and explain what is going on and compare how different policies and situations work. That is actually a better way to study economies IMO; unless your plan is become a banker who needs to understand mathematical details. Microeconomics is particularly useful for banking and business.

You flatly state this as a problem yet again but I'm not sold on it. Stratification exaggerates as the medium across which we stratify grows greater (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdR7WW3XR9c). Why should I be upset that my lot has improved? because others' lots improved more? that's male ego and blind competitiveness.

I welcome the machine which delivers me estradiol and keeps my head from being severed to entrench itself and hold stable. I'm glad Jeff Bezos wields more political power than some lonely male whose high aspiration is to rape people he's colored as evil in the chaos of an overthrow.

You'll have a point when economic mobility becomes an issue. It's easy to make it.

You can support a family on a factory worker's salary now? We have just as much job security as we did in the 50s? Healthcare is just as affordable as ever? Cost of housing, education, work hours -- none of that is up? We have more wealth?

Maybe you personally, are doing better -- but working class Americans have clearly declined as a group. We did used to be riddled with debt after graduating college -- assuming you pulled that off. There used to be better jobs for those degrees. And housing used to be more affordable.

It's simply a fact that wealth is more concentrated now then it has been prior. Half of all American workers make under 30K a year...so if you make more welcome to the upper half....it wont last unless you are near the top 10% or so.

Yes I am well aware you can do better than average and get better than average results. That's stupid way to decide how acceptable the economy is -- assume you will be exceptional (even if that's likely to be true) -- and therefore as a exceptional person the economy is good for you. Most people are not going to be exceptional and are going to have to deal with being normal.

The normies are working harder for less money then they were -- and there is no reason for that other than the top have learned to extract more wealth out of the economy at the expense of workers.

Now It's true technology like computers and iPhones make life more fun for some people...depending on how you like to spend your time...It's probably not more fun if you like drinking in bars or bowling for fun...I look at that as beside the issue because there is little proof that we need more concentrated wealth for technological innovation.

And lets face it...if you are making more than 200k a year -- your interests are nearly identical to the oligarchs you work for.

Well I only saw two videos of the guy and that was one of them. Its like -- he doing so god damn well -- and then flies off the handle about trans protestors being similar to Maoists -- like anything collectivist oriented...

This lead me to believe he did not really understand Maoism that well. Not to mention politics in general. Republicans often -- at best -- Think someone like Chris Hayes is a representative of a "liberal" and thus leftwing American. Some douchebag getting paid like $20,000+ a day to pitch Russiagate stories and ignore subjects like:

1) Americas ultra warmongering foreign policy, egged on by the military industrial complex which includes our mainstream media (including Fox/Brietbart).

2) Individual billionaires commanding vast swaths of the government like Kochs (Paul Ryan), Soros (Funds Identity Politics Movements), Bezos (Military-Industrial Complex and owns the WaPo), Zuckerberg (Face Book is Nacy Pelosi's top contributor), you name it.

3) A complete lack of commitment to any serious action about environmental damage. Not even good faith efforts to encourage green energy.

4) Corporate America closing its clutches on the internet...They plan to monetize all that we currently have access to for free or near it. Comcast owns MSNBC and Pays Maddow/Hayes/Matthews et al. very well.

So Hayes is not a leftwing American. Perhaps "liberal" is an appropriate term for these people. That label means "economic liberal" all over the world except in America where they try to mind-fuck the left into supporting unfettered capitalism. So going foward calling these moderate Republicans like Bill Maher, Chris Hayes, Rachel Maddow "Liberals" might not be a bad idea.

They are not representative of the working/middle class left however.

They know the ideology is bankrupt and that Russia's bloody history was largely kept from the public. They knew the system was no longer functioning as it once did when everyone was a true believer under Stalin. That the highest offices and social positions were all captured by opportunity hoarding, backward-looking, useless bureaucrats with a high degree of pedigree.

There was a kind of double-thinking in them all -- where they knew their career was dependent on regurgitating the propaganda they could no longer fool themselves was true. This lead to absurd prescriptions for fake problems -- all very vague and full of euphemism...It's like listening to Tom Perez come up for reasons to justify his existence in the DNC.

Most American people are too brainwashing by MSM to understand why this fucked up.

What is the argument exactly for scrapping the Iran Deal?... We are worried they would cheat on the deal, so no deal...

Ok...

So whats the plan with Iran now? No deal, more sanctions, and hopefully they will not build a nuclear bomb...

Why does it matter? Lets say they have a nuke like a thousand other countries...That means they are going to launch it at the United States? Israel? Anywhere?

No idiots. That would be the equivalent to the ruling class in Iran removing themselves from power and obliterating their own country. No ruling group of people have ever made that decision in world history, and there is little reason to believe a group ever would -- for any reason.

The idea that Iran would ever nuke anyone without being nuked first -- is a childish thought. Our government only encourages this kind of thinking because it helps sell the military industrial complex to the masses.

Grown people actually think that Iran is building a nuclear bomb to attack us or Israel or something... and our leaders are just too weak to stop it. That is the actual typical middle American view. That, and stuff about God.

Iran wants a nuke because of Pakistan, Israel, and as a safety measure against "regime-change"

The main issue I have with ending the deal is khamenei's age. That fucker is old and has cancer. 100% Iran would've had a new leader by the end of the deal's span and who knows, if the country were getting better the Guardian council might've not picked another retard. With how this went, the government will go as right wing as possible

My other issue is that everyone perceives Iran as irrational. Iranian foreign policy has merely focused on two things: getting enemies off her borders, and dicking Israel. Why we care about either is beyond me. But yes, Iran's domestic policies are abhorrent and inhumane. Speaking of inhumane, Israel is currently firing live rounds at protestors in Gaza

They are media labels designed to rally support for our allies and contempt for our enemies.

Nothing says ‘peace’ like 58 dead Palestinians (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/nothing-says-peace-like-58-dead-palestinians/2018/05/14/5e89fa9c-57bc-11e8-8836-a4a123c359ab_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.cfa92979492e) says Dana Milbank on the post.

But most regular dumbass Americans of the older generation are in a totally different reality; a reality where Israel is still somewhat justified in killing Arabs:

People need to understand that fifty years of peacemaking efforts by the U.S. and others have failed because they are the wrong approach. Not only are we negotiating with Hamas - a known terror group - but we are expecting them to accept our terms as if this is a negotiation in which they can come out ahead. It's foolish to given them the power to even approve or disapprove of an agreement.

We should make it clear to the Palestinians that the best they can hope for is the status quo, and if they continue to choose war and terror over peace, then they will lose what they have now.

We are dealing with terrorists who will martyr their own people if it means a spot on the six o'clock news. Do not try to put pressure on Israel to accommodate Hamas. It will only result in more Palestinians getting killed.

The dream of 'peace in our time' in the Middle East died on Monday (https://www.cnn.com/2018/05/14/middleeast/middle-east-peace-analysis/index.html) CNN declared.

Dare to dream. When people are stupid enough to dismantle their cognitive dissonance insofar as they are able to believe in sky fairies, they will not then decide to use logic to guide their behavior. They will simply have to die. Fortunately, they hate science so they live an unhealthy lifestyle and are prone to early death. Technically the government can't be racist (and supposedly sexist), otherwise it's fair game for the most part and that's never really changed since the civil rights act was passed.

But we all know it's "dumb as fuck" to say: "You can't do something" and expect someone (or something, like an institution, like the government, or a fucking church ((who run some of our more shitty institutions, like in the health care industry)) to not do it.

You have to back that up with rocket propelled grenades.

poking fun at a person's purported heritage and invoking stereotypes does not constitute racism. It may accurately signal it or just as often belie it, but on its own it is just insulting. we need a more diverse vocabulary for expressing outrage over hurtful words.

this is true. racism has an academic definition and a lay meaning. it's hard to discuss meaningfully because the two talk past each other.

Whata guys think? Is it a good thing to demonize the president and just be opposite of everything he is?

Anyway, the primary difference between populist Republicans and Democrats is one party seems to help mostly people that own their own small/medium size business, and the other is more interested in all low/medium paid workers...I think its obvious which one will command more votes in the long run.

But I don't support any measures hammering small business for what its worth. I think we should keep the corporate tax rate where it is at until we prove capable of actually taxing the richest of the rich. It's stupid to put the tax burden on the middle/upper-middle portion of society alone.

The only thing I very fiercely disagree with socialists on is you want to tax very poor upper-middle, bottom 1%'ers. The people who broke their ass to get money. People who can't live well off passive income. The 200k/yr to 2.5million a year crowd.

You have a millionaires tax in many socialist leaning states. The million a year crowd is not your enemy nor who you want to be targeting for tax reform. The goal should always be the upper 1%, those with extreme amounts of passive income and exorbitant wealth.

Not business magnates, but those who do not participate in the economy in any way shape or form.

Until socialists readjust their goals I'll never be on board with them. "occupy wallstreet" your average wallstreet guy is only making a few hundred thousand a year. That is not the enemy of the people.

This idea that white guilt has doomed us all..

Really?

Would leaders really want to effectively suicide themselves because of white guilt? That simply isn't how people like that make decisions. Most people at the soci-economic top don't even fucking feel empathy to the degree the lower orders do.

The two reasons these people continue with the immigration is:

1) They benefit economically. This is the reason they do everything they do.

2) They don't believe whiteness of the Europe is in danger...considering you have to be a bit of a maniac to think the end of whiteness is around the corner in Germany.

America is a lot less white keep in mind... and it is more debatable whether we should indeed keep America a white country. Considering whites aren't native here. Asains and Browns are blending in quite well and Blacks really aren't a growing part of the population.

AFAIK we can blame the socialists:

After September 1990 when the 1974 Yugoslav Constitution had been unilaterally repealed by the Socialist Republic of Serbia, Kosovo's autonomy suffered and so the region was faced with state organized oppression: from the early 1990s, Albanian language radio and television were restricted and newspapers shut down. Kosovar Albanians were fired in large numbers from public enterprises and institutions, including banks, hospitals, the post office and schools.[63] In June 1991 the University of Priština assembly and several faculty councils were dissolved and replaced by Serbs. Kosovar Albanian teachers were prevented from entering school premises for the new school year beginning in September 1991, forcing students to study at home.[63]

The problem with micks YOUTUBE videos, is some of them make really good points, but omit other big facts, or are full of misinformation, laced with cherry picked facts, and it takes someone with a brain to filter out what is correct and relevant (so when you call someone without a functioning brain stupid, they feel hurt and get stubborn and resistant and can't understand why, because well, they're actually stupid (hence why we talk to children and babies nicely, most of the time)). That doesn't mean that all of micks positions are wrong, they are just not built on a solid rational foundation. I particularly find some segments of videos very obnoxious, fraudulent, and ridiculous considering my life experiences which have gotten me quite woke to some degree without being told to be woke.

This is the catch22 which causes people who subscribe to the ideals in his videos to become correct enough to be dangerous ideologically without all the facts. Especially when they live in insulated little bubbles without exposure to those that are demonized by a fair portion of the propoganda targeted at me and them. Hence a polarizing effect where people turn their minds off and stop working together to overthrow their government, and are led to form a new hierarchy (hail Bannon, Kochbro's), which they've been told they need and love (or in my case, I'm constantly told to fear, and in the case of Tony Perkins yes, is rational, but in the case of Rex Tillerson, not so much).

It's not really even that deep. But "they" fucking shitcanned the awesome Rex Tillerson who'm would have made a good and benevolent god emperor of the Free Market(tm)(c).

By no means does this mean that Mick is stupid, it's entirely up to him to feel and act that way however.

What's the difference between a salesman and a political leader?

I am feeling a Patriam Fursona for president. Have to do all state business in fursuit 2. Millenials might just go for it. GL!

If we glassed Palestine, Iran, Chechnya (this may be why Putin is letting them rott and fester the Russian Federation, because as long as they are part of Russia, we can't really do as much, so openly, just to make it harder for us), Afghanistan, and Pakistan, and Malasyia, and Indonesia, there'd be peace, albeit a jewy peace. For 99 years.

The problem is China and the eastern Asian countries let Muslims infiltrate far to deeply.

Even in Thailand and Cambodia.

So.

The only option is to nuke 2/3rds of the earths bountiful land. Won't happen.

Read the Ender stuff about the big guy fighting shadow wars in Asia or w/e it was and the Muslims are defiantly on track in reality. That guy may have been kinda bad / wierd at stories but he was smart.

I think biological warfare were the vaccine only really works in white people is still the best option.

Chemical warfare would be suprisingly thorough too if we built a big enough arsenel and had a solid way to sneak attack with it. You'd have to target every single civilian and population center though, then use drones to mop up the little Muslim rednecks.

I think the powers that be see the working well behaved, well mannered Muslims in big cities like Dubai as our friends though and not our enemies, so they're not apt to target them.

Honestly it's to bad Russia can't say "OK we'll stop acting all big and lets work together to exterminate the anti-gay muslims". They are so butthurt and scared about Afghanistan and don't want to engage in massive global warfare, they just want little proxy wars, if they had to step up to the plate and exterminate an entire group of foreign people, they couldn't afford it. I also think Russians are too damn lazy and don't make good mercenaries or state zealots. They'll work a little bit, but they won't die for a cause like crazy Americans or Muslims will.

Ya, there are a lot of mindless ignorant Muslims who don't know any better and don't actively seek to hurt people, but they are what the rest feed off of.

I feel the same way about most Christianity, just so ya'll know. This isn't particularly racism towards 1 group.

Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and Ethiopia, is un-touchable. PPL think they are so perfect. All those starving ppl in Somalia are going to continue to to suffer miserable impoverished lives, because of politics.

Just 2 much for the Americans and Russians to hold hands and stomach.

Is Putin a closet orthodox Jew like many Russians are???

And there's still a lot of problematic Muslim refugees in Europe. And America, OOOPS!

Naw.

We'll never do it. The world would target and exterminate me, b4 it targeted and exterminated Muslims, just because this species is lazy ignorant and dumb.

Literal warfare won't solve this problem.

TLDR.

Maybe the reason ppl want to reduce the Muslim population and foreign presence in America is because they really want to nuke a place in the middle east (but can't do the whole thing at once) and start drama, and see what each side does, but if we did that now, there'd be so many new radicalized Muslim terrorists already on our shores we'd be screwed and ppl don't want to actually fight real terrorism. (as opposed to made up terrorisms).

I mean a non-trivial percentage of America is generations old Muslims that have been here for 100 years (some of who'm r kinda rich). That's a big logistical problem for certain groups.

P.S. we have more soldiers in more theatres and not just special ops anymore deployed in more places constantly than ever b4 in the worlds entire history, we are just gonna have more and more.

Expect to see the # of soldiers KIA coming home from non-traditional theatres like Yemen increasing.

Part of that is because the UN won't do what we want it too the way we want it to. A re-alignment of the UN and NATO (UNATCO LOLZ) would be fuckin epic and solve this problem slightly.

And it would be very helpful to have the more Civilized Russians on board (not their fucking stupid provinces). There's potential peaceful co-existence there in 300 years time. IDK about the Chinese. I love Koreans and Japanese, but not really into Chinese, I don't think they will ever kneel b4 anyone. The Chinese are happy to enable peasants with low standards of living to overpopulate and basically zerg. They have no sense of propriety as a whole.

Where will Indochina fall? To the Koreans or the Chinese? China adapting into a hybrid Muslim theocracatic slave state would be really problematic. It behoves us for the Chinese huaweiPhone wielding bourgeois to hate Muslims deeply and to want to kill their poor enough so that they replace the default most populous social strata.

western civilization is senescent. china wins with reason while westerners berate one another with competing delusion and parroted words of their favored tyranny.

China isn't senescent?

Thank god they're Communist (in name) and authoritarian. If they were a little bit more liberal, you could say bye bye to our hegemony.

no, i think the world view that drives their society is immature, so by no means is it senescent. the fact that you or I may dislike their methods makes them no less effective. they are progressing.

You realize china needs global trade more than we do, right? They're just going to step in to our role in Asia, if anything. They couldn't do shit if they wanted. A Japan-India alliance instantly neutralizes Chinese imperium. They suck, they aren't innovative, they're ugly, etc

Not scared in the slightest. Much more worried about apathy at home and our current immigration scheme

David Cameron was better than obama or bush. Also, I don't really see what putin has actually done for Russia. He's done a lot for the state apparatus and himself, in addition to the (((Rotenberg))) family, but for mother Russia? I don't see it and I don't understand why people like him

China does away with this pretense that every human has a right to live and some value to the future of human civilization.

If everyone who remotely mattered in China started starving suddenly, they would destroy 40% of their population immediatly. The biggest threat to them is some kind of religious ideals that will overthrow their government and create some belief in the people that they have some kind of right to life and liberty.

You can see it in our debates over abortion in the west. You can see it in the debate that "all men are equal".

Once upon a time, only an elite few were able to actually be called "men". Not all men were allowed to have wives or children, they had to swear fealty and serve other men in order to earn that privilage. If they disagreed they were killed. The Asian cultures like Korea were much more like this, where lesser men had their place and served their lord, farmers were never allowed to arm themselves etc...

This concept that everyone matters to the country, or nation, and has some intrinsic value tied to their welfare and individuality is a new western, Christian post fuedal notion or ideal.

In the old days I would have been killed, or earned my manhood, or remained a prostitute for a more powerful man. That is the order of things. I never wished to be called a man or have the mantle of manhood placed upon me by a delusional western civilization.

Real men, don't leave doors swinging on hinges in the breeze so they are wrecked. They don't leave their tools, their rakes, and their weapons in the mud to get rusty. They don't use and pile trash in heaps. They don't give their power to other men. Real men have been forged through the struggles and fires of survival and responsibility. Something cruelly lacking in the western world, and something women are never really taught or learn in the way that men do. Oh women are driven by a general need to care for their offspring, but they are never forged like men. You can see it in the failure of my father, and mothers relationship. Even now she suffers for not having any concept of manhood, and for not having had a strong man in her life.

What we have in the west. The people who claim to be men in the west. People who claim to respect life and liberty, in the west. They are not men. They are children.

Mother nature will take care of this, when we have poisoned and destroyed ourselves, our environment, and our minds with these delusions.

And the Chinese philosophies and traditions that place value on skill, merit, strength, might, wisdom, strategy, obedience, and loyalty, duty will rule and dominate the ashes. The Chinese worship their ancestors who toiled before them, so that they could be permitted life by greater men. They worship these lineages and this familial fealty deeper than anything else in their culture. I don't see this changing very soon. They stand on the backs of those that suffered and toiled so that they may be permitted a chance to live, they don't expect to live.

Unless the Muslims rise up and corrupt and seize control of the lower class serfs in their society.

It remains to be seen how the TRUE Chinese will fair in response to this pressure. Christianity did it in the west, and Muslims are going through it 500 years later in the far east.

Ancient man made eunuchs of lesser men, and the Chinese were very proficient at this for political and control purposes. This really hasn't changed I think, the Chinese are quite capable of controlling their population. Unless things change.

I do not see Isreal, nor Alabama leading us to glory.
