I got a late start today on a very important round of content editing. it's okay though, because i needed a good 8 hours of sleep in order to work well. i'm now in the final editing phase on an hour of video content that i wrote, directed, and produced. Someday I hope to specialize further in my skill set, but for now i am enjoying the very creative nature of my job. It is a great feeling to envision a product and create it from scratch. hoping all other elves are doing well and finding meaningful work in their lives.

Basically one thing that happens in society, is people section off a part of a city and basically make it like an ultralowsecurity prison where ppl are permitted to be thuggish. This gives people an illusion of freedom and allows drugs and villany to fester and keep the sheeple outside that district in line. I think it's possible to assimilate and indoctrinate people into a productive and benificial/ or better culture, but the Pakistanis dont want to, and the brits dont seem to provide an incentive. Introverts and people who aren't very functional in society, but can like sit in a corner and do a craft or solder things or data enter excel are going to be hit really hard by automation in about 10 years.

So like, mental health issues are going to get way more substantial as people living on the margins doing these quiet jobs are forced into the open and mercy of the great big system.

In addendum to what I am saying, I don't think the human body/mind will be able to adapt to technology, I think we've already left behind basically 80% of the population as far as 'usefulness' and 'ability'. Which is really sad, because people deserved to have their lives and do their thing, but we aren't logistically approaching this situation from a rational point of view, and I doubt people will catch up in their singular lifetimes, and their children will probably take 1000 years to adapt. Not long enough to keep pace with anything we can do to ourselves or our biosphere as a species now.

See, even the medical field thinks it's damaging!" I have, and it surprised me that a whole section of the medical community was so openly against transgender people. So I decided to do some digging, and thought I'd share my findings with others.

Turns out, there are two pediatric associations. The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has existed since the 1930s, and is the largest (64,000) and most respected pediatric association. The other association, the American College of Pediatricians (ACP), is a much much smaller (500) socially conservative advocacy group founded in 2002, by a former president of the AAP. The ACP was founded to counter the AAP's support of LGBTQ children/youth. As such, their statements about gender issues are intentionally socially conservative in position. The ACP has a very specific political (and religious) agenda in their statements, and are not the most trusted source for pediatric statements. That would be the AAP, which has said the opposite of the ACP on transgender issues. Here's their statement.

Anyway, I hope this is helpful for anyone who's been confused on what most pediatrics publicly say about transgender children/youth. I would urge everyone to question sources (me included) when they read stuff on the internet, and look to see the reasons behind organizational statements, because everyone has their own bias, even large organizations.

That's an interesting article. I can't classify myself as a centrist. I think strong democratic institutions and wiggle room is important, a-long with a good heady mixture of checks and balances and decentralization of authority. But these are BIG words and not readily apparent, and doesn't mean it works one way in all cases (how good would a 50 state NATO / federation really be compared to our military industrial complex? actually this may be a bad example, because that idea already sounds kinda cool).
