Anyways, to bring it back to center, since apparently no one wanted to touch this one with a 10 foot pole yesterday. This, I feel, is the crux of the issue between left and right-right now.

The West's manufactured culture is not strong enough to overcome the more organic (fortified) culture of Islam (in my opinion), and it really pisses me off that our leaders are pushing this, because the consequence of failure is another dark age, and none of you limpwristed bastards are prepared to deal with that. In fact, you'll be the first ones killed in the purging.

Obviously, by the sheer number of battle-aged men storming the gates in Europe, followed by massive civil unrest, violence, and tendency toward raping European women, the muslims are answering the battle call exactly as you would expect them to answer. Europe is in an unstable shambles. They're now passing laws to prevent the "WTF?!" platform from even being allowed, because if they don't they know they simply cannot continue to occupy the seats of power that they do.

In the meanwhile, while the theory is already proving to be an arrogant theory being met in failure, the US is attempting to foist the same bullshit on its population.

no, that is entirely melonthought. much melonthought is reflected most brightly in both Peterson and Harris in addition to a handful of others, but both of them maintain a commitment to individual liberty too rigorous to engage alternatives. We differ in the following manner:

1. Peterson is trying to resurrect traditional mechanisms to facilitate continuation of present liberties.
2. Harris seeks to supplant traditional mechanisms with new ones, but hasn't made much progress in developing them.
3. I am pessimistic that either 1 or 2 is possible at this point, though I would greatly prefer either to the state.

Molyneux is a sad example of what Harris is trying to do.

No, im saying that LIKE the reduction in the influence of christianity has increased tolerance for alternative SEXUAL lifestyles, it has also increased tolerance for alternative SPIRITUAL lifestyles.

Europes "current troubles" are a different matter altogether. They are the result of importing a large number of migrants who, themselves, are even more dogmatic and guilty of religious zealotry than the Christians were/are.

Agreed. Molyneux's view of prudence is much more 1 dimensional, or self-motivated than Harris'. On that note id also add that peterson's critique of collectivism is somewhat applicable in understanding why so. That is to say, how do you hold a group responsible. The reason why individualism has to reside above collectivism is precisely because of that. As ive already alluded to, in regards to Jonathan Haidt, Haidts biggest oversight is the outright failure to even include temperence/prudence in his reenvisioning of the moral matrix.

As for pinker, well you know fairly well the new irrational left is branding him a heretic and placing his views alongaide eugenicists at this point.

I believe my point still stands. Molyneux is overly simplifying the crux of the issue here. Muslims are flooding into the west, not for mere economic advantage. Rather, i believe they are directly responding to the arrogance of the west; believing we can domesticate all religiosity just because weve made a few advances in breaking things apart and artificiially putting them back together in more inclusive ways.

I dont carry the same level of brash overconfidence the the majority seemingly does.
