He isn't that great - He holds a few meaningless records

21-8 post season record (#1) (5 better than 2nd place)
Postseason touchdown passes (#1)
Superbowl touchdown passes (#1)
3 Superbowl MVPs (#1)
160-47 career record (#1)
12 AFC East Divion titles (#1)
4 Superbowl titles (tied #1)

I would imagine he is going to MVP this season also, even after missing the first 4 games. I used to really like watching Brady in hopes of watching him fail, but year after year he just continued to score board the entire league by being the best. Its pretty ridiculous at this point and I have come full circle into rooting for him again now that he is getting close to the end of his career.

The Denver game hurt the MVP case combined with Elliot's big game

does context matter? he's got this record at a time when human beings are the weakest bitches they have ever been in the history of humankind.

i'd like to see him play against the '85 bears defense.

Ok hotshot - Hypothetical: Could the Dallas cowboys offensive line, most of whom weigh 300lbs, beat a defensive line of super intelligent Chimpanzees (165lbs) that can bench press upwards of 1000lbs have have higher agility. For comparison, Tyron Smith is widely considered the strongest Cowboy on the O-line, and he can bench about 600lbs. but he is also 6'5 320lbs

I would have to know who taught the chimps how to play football before I could answer that.

I could see Belichick leading the chimps to victory.

system quarterback. cassel and garrapolo have looked just as good in belichick's system. he's average.

Interesting opinion and probably the best post in this thread.

I will look into these claims and get back to you.

If you want to be real about MVP - with essentially the same team, the Cowboys went 1-11 without Romo, this year without Romo we went 11-1 and continue to increase that number.

DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK DAK

Well to be honest, we went 11-2. We are definitely one of the overall better teams in football but issue with the Cowboys is they never blow out their opponents. They always play slightly better than whoever they are playing(minus the Giants.) Dak is amazingly good for a rookie but overall as a quarterback he is pretty average if he didn't have the Cowboy's offensive line.

We had the same O line last year and were terrible

Good thing football is a team game and they don't assign wins and losses based solely on the QB position.

I'm interested to see if he extends his contract out EO2019. There's some diesel QBs coming up in this year and next year drafts. As much as I respect his game, he may be doing dollar shave club commercials a la favre after his 20 with the pats. I hope he pushes through it and renews.
