Hey all!! I got bored with live EQ and heard about your 1999 server from a few friends, so here I am!! Can't wait to get set up and get some old school XP grinding going!! :D By the way are AAs unlocked on this server??

No, at the moment this server is classic EQ only, and the developers are currently working on Kunark. Velious will be the last expansion released.

At this point in time, no. Even were they even to be THOUGHT about(and they're not.), it wouldn't be for years and years and years.

However, classic-velious were the golden years before the game turned to mudflation.

Nothing shreds a game and makes it feel small and insignificant as fast as removing meaningful travel, and removing the lack of other player reliance.

They do not, but I think that was implemented in Kunark? I know it's on the beta server right now (global ooc).

Server wide channels kills local banter. Nothing like a good "/ooc" discussion ;)

I think Rogean said that serverwide chat channels will not be activated. That would essentially kill the tunnel.

I think p99 had global ooc then got rid of it. At least that's what I heard.
