We didn't snipe a Vindi. We came off a 10 day suspension, and wanted to raid. Vindi was up quite awhile. Obviously, it was a logical choice for us. You can't be upset that you chose to wait until after midnight to do Vindi.

Once again we see the "it's never enough" argument. We left Statue uncontested for, I believe, 6 hours. F/V was basically handed an uncontested Statue, but when we came to clean up Avatar, now it's a problem? You waited too long, and couldn't execute the pull. We killed the mob we intended to kill; the mob we put time into tracking.

Sure there aren't locks specifically for 'doing growth' or 'Tunare', but that is because most of the time when a guild is working full tilt for (arguably) the best mob in the game, they dont put locks out on other mobs that they dont even intend to kill until they are done fattening themselves on their first raid target.

I think the "haha look what it dropped," is more to trivialize the aggression by emphasizing the insignificance of the loss. It is basically saying, "Yes, you took the statue, but your "victim" was unharmed by the aggression. "

Consider Awakened has a lot of members and they have fun clearing content and gearing up their chars and pursuing pixels for their membership. Then approach the question recognizing there is an "opportunity cost" to pursuing anything in P99. Do you want to farm plat or track a mob? Do you want to track and wait for mobs to spawn or do you want to do your own thing (xp, tradeskill, group, whatever). One guild was trying to balance a Plane of Growth clear but also hoped to kill Statue, and AOW. Their course of action was in part dictated by weighing the opportunity cost of pursuing these simultaneous goals.

Knowing Statue dropped dick shows their opportunity cost was a lil bit less and that they're smart as balls and still rocking Essences of Nature and some dope War Helmets.

It still blows my fucking mind that the GL of Taken somehow ended up in charge when the Rampage break happened. Did they really have nobody else more qualified to lead the members of the previous best guild on the server? It's like a NFL team disbanded and joined a high school football team and put the HS coach in charge.
The Rampage that lead the Taken/Rampage merger were mostly clerics/enchanters that weren't really part of any FTE/pull team outside of a couple of people. But from my memory the Awakened Guild Leader role wasn't that important when it came to actually raiding. I didn't even know which character he played/plays and I think they had a 30% raid attendance. But despite less raid experience, the Taken members did a fantastic job, heck they probably got majority of the FTEs.

the tells used to create that pic were collected over about 2 months, a few of them were from earlier in velious but most rampage members didnt start taking screenshots of his tantrums until after I started the "Detoxx's Disparaging Dialogues" thread on the rampage boards

Last year both AM and Awakened got suspended at different times. During AM suspension, Awakened mostly went for Velious endgame mobs and left many plane/kunark content alone with exception of CT.

When Awakened got suspended AM contested every single mob. I remember Detoxx screaming in PoFear that he was going to petition Anonymous over a single golem, because his own guild wiped to trash mobs and he didn't get the kill.

In the particular thread, FoH/Venerate got FTE on a totally uncontested Statue that had been up for hours. Awakened did not interfere with them killing Statue. After 20 minutes of Avatar being up AoW had not been pulled by FoH/Venerate so Awakened killed it. There was no drama. Lot of salty people in this thread trying to make it more then it is.
