Yes its awful. Even FF7 battle music gets old after 1000s of encounters.

I'd just like the ability to choose which of the 3 original combat musics, cause I remember one specifically from when I started playing and the current music on p99 isn't that.

not sure during which era it became possible to change music files but i know by PoP it was possible

after some self-learning, I changed the thunder and wind tunnel sounds to something more soothing comparable to what you would hear at a spa. best thing I've ever done.
