How many targets can lvl 18 Bard AOE hit?

I had read something about a AE target nerf and now I can't find the thread. Did that not apply to bard AE?

This applies to all spells. Even ae mez, lul, dmg, stat debuffs, everything. From my understanding.
For all classes not just bard.

They know it's not classic but it's the "feel of classic". And has been discussed in the community already in length.

That's fine as I'm not opposing it or attempting to reopen discussion, nor was I apart of the discussion initially. I thought I had read the number was much lower than 25 but I wanted confirmation.

So if i pull 50 mobs will it randomly hit 25 of them? will it hit the same 25 every time?

It will hit the eldest 25 mobs in range.

AE spells select targets by spawn time.

I recall reading a post by one of the devs that it hits the top 25 mobs on your agro list (the ones with the most hate towards you.) I could be mistaken, but regardless, it will hit the same 25 and not a random selection of 25 as far as I know.

Pardon me if this is old news but i've been gone for more than 6 months. Is there now a cap on aoe targets for all classes to 25?

If so - that seems like a good change for server balance ... if only to curb the problem of AoE powerleveling for sale.
