Everyone who doesnt play on red99 anymore but checks the forums on a quaterly/ bi-annual basis longs for a wipe, but that seems unlikely as the GMs have shown little enthusiasm for the extra work associated with it.

So how about we make a fundraiser for a second red Server?
If there are costs associated with it lets see if the community here can get it started.

Let rogean or sirken or whoever runs the show nowadays make a campaign at Kickstarter.com or indygogo.com or one of those sides and personally promote the link to the campaign in these forums here (so we know it is not a fraud)


MOST IMPORTANTLY, this could revitalize the interest of some regular 99ers to try EQ PVP as the gear disadvantages are no longer entrenched and all those deleveled epic rangers/rogues can not pollute the starting areas

Leave the penal colony that is current red99 to the violently depressed and those of negative toxicity and restart the grand tradition of CLASSIC PVP

It does make sense. I mean red is *so* popular there really should be 2 of them. If half the people on red1 move to red2 that would still be like 20-30 ppl on *each* server. Maybe there should be 3 red servers?

no initial guard assist

entire guild bans

huge changes to pvp rules throughout its lifecycle.

radically changing experience rates

global ooc, exp loss on pvp deaths, yellow text.

level 10s with epics, which you can no longer do but the damage has been done.

red has a very tumultuous history that has a deleterious effect on server stability and player retention.

those are reasons enough to wipe or reboot the current server, moving forward i think that we need item loot, teams, or both.
