How many essence emeralds can you generate by dropping from 100% into 60?

I know you first have to delevel to 59 - but how many sacs can you eat at 59 before leveling the first batch of corpses and still ding back to 60?

How many % exp do you lose when dying in 59 or 60? That should give you a good estimation.

I've always just done 3 if I was max 60 to keep a good buffer

I think 5 emeralds if you don't want to keep a buffer but I wonder if that's the same for all races / classes etc. Since some require more exp to level.

5 is conservative
6 is usually ok (you'll end up with ~20% xp in your 60 after rezzes)
7 means you grew some balls

I normally do 6, however I am a rogue so normally get exp on raids so a big buffer isn't so important.

@ 100% XP bind somewhere like shady. Let him kill you till 59, drag all those corpses in a pile.

Then take 7 sacs. After your done with the sac's simple res all those corpses that shady killed, you should barely reding 60

It probably depends on your class/race combo, as well. A level 60 Iksar Shadow Knight should have significantly more total EXP than a Halfling Warrior.

But isn't the xp lost a flat percentage of the xp it took to fill out the previous level? Unless I'm mistaken race or class shouldn't matter. Ie the troll loses more total xp per death than a human because it took more total xp to cap any given level.
