Hello, friends!

I'm Kavalier, The People's Bard, and it's my Birthday on Monday, 13 March. My <Paradox> friends and I are hosting a Trak's Teeth Cycles and Seb Keying party at 8 PM EST that night, and you're invited. Details:

++ Does your main or an alt need a Seb Key? Then come on out, and we'll get you keyed up! Then you, too, can sit for hours in Seb LFG!

++ While keying, we'll have chances for some pretty great loot, including several 7-12k items and decent class-specific No Drop items. (See Hunter/Forager cycle section on the wiki here. (http://wiki.project1999.com/Trakanon%27s_Teeth)) Everything will be greed rolled. If you participate in the kill, you get to roll your dice.

++ You are encouraged to bring your most exotic and silly Baking and Brewing treats. I will give out small rewards for Best Baker and Best Brewer.

Is the cycle as easy as the wiki states? Just plow through hunters and foragers while tracking for nameds? Are the named spawns rare and do they always drop their loot?

My short answer is, yes, it is that easy. The named spawn about 10% of the time, and you have to accept that most of them have junk or nothing. They all ALWAYS have their loot, though, so you can get excited when a good one comes up on Track. I once went regen BP guy -- Forager -- regen BP guy in three kills; I've also gotten nothing in four hours.

Some of them are almost impossible to solo. The 55 Wizard who drops the Iksar Illusion mask is tough to land fear on to kite. And Doom--whom I've never seen--supposedly takes a group. Also, you have to be smart about the pulling. It's actually safer to bring Hunter/Forager or the named to a quiet spot like a ZL or where the stream meets the lake. You can get a ton of adds if you try to kill them where they path after spawning.

We'll just have to hope for a good night on drops. I'm hoping multiple Trackers show so the pulling is fast. The lazy aggro changes have definitely made the camp slower, but we'll be fine with a crowd pulling.

Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed the fun. I think we got roughly 25 toons keyed. Drops were a little stingy and not diverse, but we weren't skunked: three Iksar illusion masks dropped and two Grim Pauldrons (+10 str shoulders).

Congrats to Xikikaz who won Best Baker for Smoked Wood Elf. Congrats to Razr for best Brewer. Though his Vodka submission did not taste the best, he was the only person wise enough to hand me a stack instead of one.

I can't recall who it was last night but I enjoyed seeing the summoned throwing knife critical assassination on one of the foragers. That was hilarious.
