Server Drama aside. I just want to say that I was not present for the activities presented below. One of our most trusted kittens has informed me of the following:

1. We competed to kill Ragefire tonight.
2. Purpyl (Kittens) the bard turns in a pearl.
2. XLTX(Paradigm Shift) (one of top 2 best monks on server) pulls zordak out of his room for turn in.
3. Aftermath threatens to petition.
4. 20 Minutes later. Kittens are still valiantly slaying FG's.
5. Aftermath has waited in anticipation and skips kittens/slays Ragefire. (following server rules)
6. Aftermath gives the heart to Purpyl because they are awesome.
7. Spacepope wants to say thanks to everyone for competing like gentlemen.

Any way you slice this up, being respected for your fair and honest competitive effort deserves serious recognition.

I won't name names but I know for a fact that this is not always how this goes. Sometimes they (ragefire slayers) don't care who slayed ragefire. They take everything. I know that because we have been there before.

Kittens salutes Aftermath for their very classy move tonight. I know that many of you compete with honor and class regardless of your affiliation (whomever your /guildstatus). I pledge kittens will not ever never steal your pearl. Even if we slay ragefire the heart will always go to the person who turned in the pearl. The reason for this is simply that this is a video game and that it should be fun. If this happens another way please PM me.

Well Purpyl is a 60 bard but kittens does MQ things to RL cleric's in need rather than selling them. I guarantee if kittens are racing for ragefire its going to be given to someone in need. As a matter of principle we do not contest unnecessary things for personal gain.

It was funny, we did the whole turn in first then clear to the engage in your 20 minute window thing. We got accused of stalling, which in actuality, we didnt know what we were doing because we're kittens.

It took by my guesstimate about 26 minutes to clear all the FGs (9, including the two in Zordaks room). So we did lose the lock per server rules but aftermath was cool for letting us take the heart. and as pope says, we arent in the business of selling mq's and its actually my cleric (purpyl) who is closest to epic completion now, will be my first epic ever (including 1999!), just need that pesky singed scroll!

AM played within the rules and gave us the heart when they were not obliged to. It was nicer than many of our past experiences with getting jumped.

They didn't rob anyone. If you actually read the post, you'd know that Kittens lost the spawn by being too slow clearing. It happens. AM giving them the heart instead of MQing it themselves was a classy move.

I'm sure BDA never raced for ragefire, especially since it's one of the few raid targets BDA could respond to and usually kill.

Coming from the guild that "contested" a sont engage just to train the people killing Sont with 15+cov factioned mobs to wipe them on enrage/flee range this says a lot. I choose to not post those fraps but they still exist, so yes I follow certain rules and choose to bypass them in terms to play nicely.
