where to farm flawless diamonds

Hi, 58 Paladin here, won a BP in Kael but i have no funds for gems. spent several days in Velks and getting no where.

Anyone have some advice on where to find Flawless Diamonds, or I guess where a Paladin with shit gear can farm 15000 plat........

What were you killing in Velks? I've seen a couple of chest gems drop from stuff in velks close to where velks himself spawns. Also on the dragon in CS. All priest gems though.

Chest gems seem pretty rare and only to drop off the highest mobs. I hear SG is a good place for them in p99. I've not done SG myself though.

yeah seb is gonna be your best bet as you'll get exp and plat at the same time

lord knows people have done seb for years without velious bp, so don't sweat it young paladong

Broodmother area camp in velks drops BP gems. You generally need a full or nearly full group to hunt there effectively.

Crystal eyes and fang drop them (not regularly but when they do spawn its more common for them to drop on nameds). ive never seen frenzy brood or stalker drop one. They do drop off crystal guardians deeper in by the imps rijoely and tijoely. Im unsure if they drop off anything else in velks besides nameds kobolds and bm's. Maybe velium hunters?

And SG is absolutely the best place to farm them, they drop like candy there honestly (black marbles too, crushed flame emeralds, all the good stuff). I see them a lot in SG when doing fellspine. Generally you dont wanna go there with a lot of people unless youre raiding. If you do raid there just go to temple or fellspine area under temple and keep pulling everything. Mind you you'll need cold resist and magic resist in SG. Min group you need since youre a paladin and not well geared is prolly 4 people (cleric/shaman/dps). You or the dps will need a tash stick.

Your main options for getting diamonds as drops are deep Velks (broodmother mainly), DN rats, or SG.

What's the going price on them? Might be cheaper versus your time to farm the plat and buy them out of the tunnel.

On blue they almost always go for 5k. People try to buy them at 4k but I highly doubt theyre sold for 4k. Tbh 5k is about right. Most chest pieces are huge upgrades. Unless youre a monk, they all kinda suck besides wtov's. Invigorate is nice if youre a human though I guess.

i farmed them early in as 58 paladin exp is kinda weak but paladins make good tank for those spiders, i think i did 2 yellows in 59 there too. They can root park the pulls and since they need slowing asap you have aggro quickly.
Also if the enchanter is charming spiders , when they brake you can just throw a sup heal on them as soon as you see there pet brake. Works well. Since you can tank with auto attack off :P

they have been selling for 4k lately. i see 3 for 12k alot in the tunnel now.

Broodmother camp in Velks is by leaps and bounds your best option. I have been at this camp for only a few hours and everyone in the entire group had 2 BP gems when we left.

If you get another BP gem you can typically trade them for the one you want also for a small conversion fee

I've seen as many for sale at 4k as 5k in the last couple of weeks, but 4.2-4.5k seems to be the most common selling price. I just assume you can generally haggle these down to 4k, especially if you're buying 3 at a time.
