Curiosity led me down an interesting road recently and I stumbled across this ^^
https://psychcentral.com/quizzes/autism-quiz.htm
after compelling many people to take the test, it was interesting to see the correlation between what i'd consider benign shy nerdness and autism. it may not be as accurate as free online iq tests, but still good for discussion.
so what's the likelihood that you are an autisit?
how that make you feel? embarrassed? relieved? normal? different? retarded?
for me, age has been of profound service in coming to understand that it's not everyone else, but me who is retarded. im okay with that though.

Got possibly autistic. 0 fucks.
My wife is an elementary teacher and often attends professional developments on ASD. She giggles through them because the things I do are so similar to things autistic 1st graders do.

I don't know how deep you have gone into your own personal psychological introspection, or what all types of books/sites you have read, but I can point you in one direction you may not have looked and that's the Myers Briggs Type Indicator test. Check it out.
With some patience, and honesty on your part, I believe you will find many interesting things about yourself. I know I did. also, it's quite helpful in understanding not just yourself, but others you may meet or already know. Once you have some understanding why we do what we do, it becomes easier to not judge others due to their differences in thought processes or personalities from oneself.
Essentially you are going to fall into 1 of 2 categories starting out with the MBTI test. One being Introvert, the other extrovert. These two different personality types really dictate how you think and behave.
From there, the MBTI test will go even deeper, much deeper into many different categories of these two sub-personality types. It will break your personality type down into 1 of 16.
I will provide one link that offers a test, feel free to check it out. It's fairly accurate but a bit simplified, as I have books on the system that go even further into the test results etc., but for starting out this test is good. I believe it's the one I checked out last, just to compare to what I determined from my books and I did get the exact result concerning my personality type.
https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test (https://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test)
Anyway I find psych stuff really intriguing. I have always tried to understand the why behind what I do, what others do, etc.

yeah ^^, i've taken that before. i am INTP with everything heavily skewed in those directions (introvert being the highest at 97%).
also, originalman ^^ I was hoping for slytherin, but got ravenclaw on two different tests :c
i am INTP
Me too. Shit sucks. I think it's the most incompatible horoscope with modern society.
also slytherin

I wouldnt put to much stock into the jung personality test, humans do change and have varied emotions. I remember doing the test some 7 years ago I got INFJ, last time is like a year ago I got ENTJ. I have 0 autism points.
Years ago I was not familiar with autism/asberger etc - an old fat funny and weird friend of mine moved in with his new girlfriend. This girl was very peculiar and I was kinda shrewd with her in the beginning. Anyways her quirky(to put it mildly) behaviour made me "take notes" and research the internet - i concluded she was like this asberger and I told my friend. He was intrigued "hmm, hmm , Ahh" and brought this info up to her parents, >> she had her diagnosis and was stamped with asberger
so I am like a certified Dr lawrence jacoby

Scored 6 (possible autist) because I answered Yes (both now and young) to the "bothered by certain textures" question, and no to every other question.
I loathe the sound of styrofoam rubbing against other styrofoam. It can drive me nuts. It is my kryptonite really.

Hey, we have the same score on the autism table, we should do things together I think we are a match.
Styrofoam on styrofoam doesn't bother me though. :p
When I have plans laid out, I hate when someone comes along and decides to change them at the last second.
I despise spontaneity and love structure. This is my autist trait, I guess you could say.

These type of tests are pretty much always very poorly constructed. The autism test are usually at the bottom of the barrel.
It doesn't help that people usually think of either Rainman or the "internet asperger" stereotype.

what, the INTP ESFJ stuffs? It's personality typing from the test that Lhance linked on page one in response to my post. it's a way of grouping people and since it based on scales it's not perfect, but still pretty accurate in my experience.

Also INTP, -A/-T
Most of the rest of the world are fucking retards. I explained this during a conference call with the "team" I work with at work today. Luckily as much of a dick as I am I replaced 4 people that used to be on the team when they quit/were fired by myself so unless they want to cough up a bunch of money I'm pretty much bulletproof.

thread has potential, as I peruse I see and look and... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ENTJ
you ain't retarded at all, I won't get into the definition and reliable conclusions of the words "normal","weird","different", i'll add "self" here and for another cliff after climbing i did not foresee, I'll add "retarded" even though it already has it's scientific and societal bends already included...
only ever positive in a dumb way, never negative as it would seem.... although I am in the right forum...
