Our guild <Paradox> is hosting our monthly OPEN Kael arena raid this Friday 6/23 @ 9pm EST.

Anyone 45+ is welcome to join and all loot will be /ran 1000. If you win a piece of Thurg armor, you cannot win another piece of Thurg armor unless all other players of your respective class type have won a piece. We keep a running list during the raid.

When you win an item, it is your responsibility to immediately stop fighting and search every corpse for your loot. Be relentless, there are ninjas! All gems will be donated to the <Paradox> guild bank.

We've killed Derakor the Vindicator many times at our open raids, and random players have won Chestplate of Vindication and Living Thunder Earring. Let's do it again!

Gather INSIDE KD at the Wakening Lands zone line so we can move to the Arena as a group.

I've been to a few open kael raids. It's always a good time. If you're 45+ and scared or worried don't be. Go enjoy it. It's also a great way to get a small taste for raiding.

We typically have well over 100+ people attending these open raids. Unfortunately that means not everyone is going to win a piece of armor.

The faction blowout was more than worth not getting any loot. Besides that damned ear lol. Btw, Derakor downed in 155 seconds. And for a pickup raid, that was pretty damn solid. Glad not everyone quit after dying once or twice and stuck with it

I would have to say that a lot of chainmail armor pieces dropped in a room full of leather wearing players...

I was happy I was able to join for the last 30 mins or so. There was a really good atmosphere, including a bunch of clerics that misunderstood the idea of 'chain' and had formed a congaline!

As to armor, I didn't get any (showed up on a plate class), but there were chain bracers rotting (which seem pretty worthless considering the worth of the melee wrist gem and the alternative options for shaman). Grats rot!

chain drops 20 times, 5 rollers. 1 leather drops, 60 rollers lol

Thanks for letting us come! We cleaned up a bit haha - several corroded pieces, those warrior gloves, Ulgromm got the earring and a nice ranged item. I was very pleased with my own heads for Helm of the Tracker!
