Has I was leveling in EC, I watched the auctions and was wondering how people would be able to walk with 170kpp on them? I mean, that's 1700 stones right? Isn't max strength 255?

They probably try to meet at a bank. Ive wondered that myself.

Maybe ogre mule with buffs? Lol

Also there is at least one bag that has coin weight reduction on it. I think its only 5 -10% but with 1700 stone...

Every "coin purse" (but not other purses like Wenglawks Manly Purse) grants some coin weight reduction. The best one actually goes up to 70%:

Once you hit enough weight your AGI drops to 1 and you can't move. However with SoW you can still move albeit at a very slow pace. I don't know if a bard with Selo's has the same effect.... if so then a level 5 bard would probably be the best mule in regards to holding heavy weight.

Also as an aside, I believe coin weight is 40 coin = 1 stone so 170k would actually be a crazy 4250 stone!

Bard with selos can always move.

^This. Another trick you can do is open a trade window to someone with your coin. This will remove your encumbrance for a little bit and allow you to move quickly.

You can move with jboots as well.

if i have to move across a zone with an encumbering amount of plat, i usually just die on the mule and drag the corpse, then get a sow if i need to hit a zl and die again on the other side. saves time.

SoW is the answer you are looking for - you can always tell who has massive amounts of plat on them because they move at a crawl. Also the reason anyone with a brain uses a level 5 Bard as a mule

Someone did this to me in the tunnel last night. I was standing there and the trade window opened and the amount was like 12237247 and then it closed. I looked around and didnt see anyone close enough. I couldnt understand but this explains it.

i put my level 1 elf slave in EC with no sow and no hope of one and just do the ol' coin trade trick whenever i need to move her from one chained position to another

no hope of one? there are 5-10 druids hanging out in ec at any given moment. and those are just the ones spamming that they are porting.

I have a mule in ec tunnel who just doesn't move. There no reason fOr him to move either

I keep a sow pot just for this. Coin weighs WAY too much. I know its classic but im surprised at how heavy it quickly gets. Should have been 100=1 not 40=1.
